> 3 dayI used this backpack for my carry-on bag for a trip to London from the U.S. My laptop, camera gear, extra change of clothes, and more easily fit into this backpack. Throughout the trip, the backpack held up and was quite sturdy. I liked the padded section for my laptop as well as the section that is lined so I can put my sunglasses and glasses in them. The side pockets expand nicely for an umbrella or water bottle. I would definitely purchase more North Face items in the future.

I contacted Northface but they wanted me to pay $30 so ship it to them without even telling me for sure if they would or could repair it. If they decided not to, I would be out $30 for shipping. It seems like such an expensive product should have a warranty and that they would stand behind their product.

When my middle school daughters other backpack broke after only 3 weeks into the school year, I told her to research a sturdy backpack. The research lead her to The North Face Borealis School Laptop Backpack. This backpack is spacious for laptop, books, and everything else that is needed for school. Its been 3 months so far and she really likes this backpack. I am pleased with this purchase. Yes, it is pricier than other backpacks but the quality and longevity are worth it to me.
