> 24 hourMy son really loves the butterfly theme. The board feels sturdy and seems to hold up well. The print quality is great, with sharp images and bright colors, no blurring or misaligned coloring. The pieces fit into the main board without too much crunching (which is good, because it prevents damage to the edges), but dont have extra looseness.

> 24 hourI bought this to use in my classroom with elementary students. I like the puzzle and think the kids will enjoy it. While it is made of sturdy cardboard, I don’t think it will hold up to a lot of use. Maybe better for home use with just one or two children.

> 24 hourThis butterflies puzzle is a fun challenge. It is one that can be done again and again. There are triangular shaped pieces that fit into a triangle shaped backboard. The permanent edges along the board have the design too, so that you have a place to start. Each side of each triangle has half a butterfly or butterflies. The trick is to fit all the halves together to complete the puzzle. Multiple pieces look as if they can fit in the corner spots, so its a matter of trial and error until they all get placed properly. Its like its a new puzzle each time. Ive really been enjoying it.

> 24 hourBefore you begin: TAKE A PICTURE of the completed puzzle before you scramble it! This puzzle is simple, but extremely difficult to complete without help! There are multiple pieces that can fit in any given spot, and you wont know if they are correct until youve spent some time trying to fit together the remaining pieces. On the back is a picture of a partially completed puzzle, which I suppose can also give you some help if you are stuck. While there may be some kind of strategy to solving it (besides trial and error), I havent figured it out yet. Im glad I took a picture before I took it apart, because it helps a LOT to have a guide. Even referencing the picture, I had some trouble distinguishing between the heads/tails of the same butterflies when I wasnt looking closely. I suppose for an easier challenge, you could set it up with a few of the pieces already in place and work to the solution from there. Once the puzzle is completed, the pieces actually stay in the mold quite well. There is a small amount of tension that will keep them from falling out, even if you flip it over to look at the back. That being said, the last piece can be a bit difficult to place because you have to really make sure all the other triangles are flush with the frame. The only real negative is that there is no external box or bag to hold the pieces, so youll either need to trust the natural tension of the puzzle, or put the pieces in a small ziplock bag. This is a fun little puzzle and definitely worth the price. Though it is a bit too difficult for me to solve without help, I think it will be a lot of fun to try solving it with increasingly large sections of the puzzle removed. I recommend it!

> 24 hourThis Triazzle puzzle is almost the same as one I had many years ago, only smaller. The frog design appears to be the same, however this puzzle is, I’d guess, about 50% smaller than the one I had in the 1990s. This is actually a bit welcome, as the issue with the larger Triazzle puzzle of the past was sometimes finding a place to store it flat. The puzzle appears simple, but once you dump all the pieces out you’ll find that it’s not quite as simple as it looks, and just when you think you may have the puzzle solved, you may find the last few pieces just don’t fit! It’s a fun puzzle, the only issue is once you recall where a few key pieces go, it does become a bit easier. Even now, years later when working with the puzzle, my brain still recalls where one key puzzle piece goes, however, it’s still fun to figure the rest of the puzzle out! The puzzle is made well of sturdy board material. The puzzle pieces fit snugly, the printing is good, and overall it’s a fun puzzle!

> 24 hourI originally ordered this for a 13-year old but decided to give it a go myself (and Im 13 a few times over.) It is challenging, although solvable with patience. The pieces are relatively sturdy and easy to manipulate. I see this very much as a solo activity, but I guess you could work it through with a partner. I really enjoyed it and think that the originally intended recipient would have enjoyed it a lot...and been able to solve it with the same time and patience.

> 24 hourGot this origially as a gag for a friend to play with, who had missed seeing any dolphins on a recent vacation Then we both realised just how much more this (and one assumes, its stallmates) really can be for puzzle lovers Dont want to spoil the fun, but if youre a puzzler, get this! It;s intriguing as all get out!

> 24 hourThis was my first time trying a puzzle like this. It was fun. It looks easy. There are only 16 pieces, but Id get down to the last one or two pieces and - WRONG! - Id have to start over. If you like brainteasers, you will enjoy this.

> 24 hourThis puzzle arrived quickly and is made of nice quality cardboard with vivid clear colorful printing- no odor. The puzzle board was shrink wrapped; however, the board arrived damaged on 4 of the 6 corners, the picture shows the plies of cardboard and the WORST of the damaged corners in the shrink wrap. I cant tell if the shrink wrap was too tight and split the corners-since the corners were exposed or if handing caused the damage to the corners- so Ill try to glue the multiple plies of carboard back together. I highly advise you to take a picture of the assembled puzzle prior to dismantling the pieces. It appeared easy enough...just 13 triangle puzzle pieces, but what makes this challenging is that 2 of the 3 sides may match multiple pieces. I passed this product to my husband to try and its been a half hour and hes still working at it. Just for my habit I will have to find proper storage for this puzzle board, a pouch or something, to keep all of the pieces intact and so the corners wont get damaged further from handling. Since I have 2 of these puzzles and will look to see if any more are available...I may just make a wooden storage box to house all of these triazzle puzzles to protect them and keep them together. The board measures 11.25 top to bottom and 12.75 side to side at its widest points. My husband did say that unlike regulkar puzzles without a perimeter, since this is recessed into a boundary board when you find youve placed a piece wrong it not easy to remove the one piece since there are no exposed edge so you have to pick the corner which may delaminate the puzzle piece. Overall, I would recommend these Ravensburger Triazzles. As for the cost...if you know whom the recipient is and that they enjoy and appreciate challenging brain teaser puzzles the price is right; however, I would not recommend this for someone that just enjoys a standard puzzle as they may get frustrated and not enjoy nor complete the puzzle- so for that the price wouldnt be worth it.

> 24 hourSome of the best puzzles come from the interaction of really simple pieces. This is one of them. Each of the pieces here is shaped exactly the same way, as an equilateral triangle. All you need to do is match up the animals on the pictures. Easy enough for a kid to understand, but quite difficult to do, even for an adult. The pieces themselves, and the backer, are made out of a fairly stiff cardboard that holds up fairly well to being rearranged incessantly as you try to make it all work. I got it for my 6 year old grandson. His parents are enjoying it.
