But with the right tools, I easily removed the back of the laptop, removed the 2 existing 4 GB memory components and installed the two new TimeTec 8 GB memory components that I purchased through Amazon, and viola! computer is better/faster!

> 3 daywithin 3 days this ram upgrade caused my keyboard to stop working, i reset SMC/PRAM which did not resolve the issue, opened up bottom of mbp to reseat ram modules-did not solve anything, ran disk utility in safe mode that said HD was corrupted and had to recover and reinstalled os. bottom case ran HOT with high rpm on fan. i have a mid-2012 mbp unibody 13inch upgraded from crucial 2x4gb stick of ddr3 12800 1600mhz ram to your 2x8gb upgrade which seemed to have crashed my mbp pretty hard. even after reinstall of os sierra i still have non functioning keys on built in keyboard. i think i should have bought crucial 2x8gb instead...

La instalación fue demasiado sencilla y en menos de 5min ya las había instalado con mis propias manos. El costo es insuperable para lo que había cotizado en servicios técnicos. Las recomiendo ampliamente. Mi iMac cuenta con 4 ranuras para Ram. Traía ocupadas 2 ranuras con 4GB cada una, por lo que solo tenía 8GB de ram de fábrica. Ahora que instalé las 2 memorias, subió a 24GB de ram y no se atora con nada. Funciona mejor de lo que esperaba.
