> 3 daythe drive does have spacious volume, unfortunately there is hardly and buffer size to maintain a read/write cycle if the drive is in use , i hope the lifespan of the drive is at least decent as i can deal with low read/write speeds, once the buffer is filled on this drive, expect 5~15mb/s transfer rates, the only pro this drive has going for it is that it was $35 for 1Tb, if you want quality for your money, you may consider any of the leading brands with many years of experience. I may eventually rip open this drive to see what components are used.

> 3 dayI bought this cheap ssd for my first PC build ever thinking it would be OK to cheap out on atleast one component as everything else on my pc was expensive but GOD WAS THIS A MISTAKE. (I have used this ssd for approximately one year) First issue I had with this my PC was random heat spikes from the cpu which led me to believe the cpu was just a lemon but I stuck with it anyway cause it wasn’t a big deal. SECOND my sound setting would randomly jump up and down in games and in movies, sometimes even just looking at the actual sound setting you could watch all of them jump from 70-100% sound like a ghost was messing with me. Again I ignored this as I didn’t want to spend another 300$ on another CPU. THIRD issue I had with this PC my ICUE program would not run properly and neither would my LCONNECT software, fan lighting was a horrible experience so I was convinced it was the software. FOURTH ISSUE startup turned into 1-2 minute long start ups and I was also created with a “repairing drive c, press any button to cancel this” I had no clue what that ment, everytime I went to download stuff onto the drive it was working fine so I didn’t think it needed any type of repair. FIFTH AND FINAL PROBLEM: I could no longer install or delete anything onto the drive as once I restarted the pc everything would magically reset to its previous settings (example: I deleted iCUE, then reset my pc and boom it magically reappeared. I installed valorant then reset pc then boom it magically vanished. I was so frustrated as I thought this was some type of critical hardware failure, I couldn’t even play video games as after around an hour the whole pc would just crash. Finally I decided to try to fix the issue by starting with a new much more expensive name brand ssd and a fresh install of windows. My PC is now running faster then ever, sound bugs fixed, ICUE programs and lian li software running like a dream, do random heat spikes on my cpu no random crashes on my PC. This ssd has been a curse on me for over a year and because of it I almost spend another 300-400$ on components that I didnt need. (I know what your thinking, I must have downloaded a bunch of malware or things of that nature on the ssd, WRONG this pc and this ssd were used for Video games ONLY unless steam and riot games gave me a virus which I highly doubt) Do yourself a favor and spend extra cash on a name brand ssd unless you really don’t care about your pc and the information on it. Im finally free from this curse of an ssd. If I could give 0 stars I would.

> 3 daySummary: The drive failed to boot one week after Windows 11 install. Ran HD tune utility from a flash drive and found 2% of the SSD sectors were damaged (See pictures)! Drive died during reinstall. Detailed review: I bought this SSD to replace my 256 gigabyte SSD that had run out of space. My computer also has a SATA slot that contains a two terabyte HDD, which is used as storage. I backed up the content of my boot drive, installed the new drive, and installed Windows 11 on it. Initially, it worked fine, and the drive was even faster than my previous Kingston SSD. About six days later, the Windows Disk Checker screen popped up during a restart. I didnt think much of it, and let it run to completion. The following day, the computer stopped booting. I tried using the windows repair utility and failed. I even had a restore point set up, but even that failed. After that had failed, I decided to boot up from a flash drive and run a few tests. The HD tune test showed that 2% of the drive sectors were damaged. I really didnt want to waste time on uninstalling the drive, returning it, and waiting to receive another one. So, I attempted to erase the drive with an eraser utility. This utility writes over all the existing data, making sure that your original data is no longer accessible after erasing. Modern SSD drives come with firmware that should detect bad sectors and replace them with good spare sectors. I thought that maybe the erasing process could engage this ability and fix the bad sectors. I was wrong. The SSD completely failed to the point that it was no longer detectable in the computers BIOS. This SSD is most likely manufactured using rejected wafers from major SSD manufacturers. These chips can be rejected for a wide assortment of reasons, such as not hitting speed benchmarks, or consuming a little too much power. Companies can buy these chips at a very large discount, and oftentimes they work fine but, without adequate testing, its completely a game of chance. Final thoughts: I understand that everyone wants to save money, and this is the cheapest one terabyte SSD on Amazon. Im lucky that my damaged sectors were in the beginning of the drive and that I found out about the issue within a week of using my computer, rather than several months like some other reviewers have said. If you still want to buy the drive (I wouldnt recommend it), go ahead, but make sure to run a complete test on it before trusting your data to it.

> 3 dayForgot to take a picture but dang is this thing small. I have an older Dell Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming (7567) laptop that I thought the hard drive was going out on me. Started researching and figured getting a couple new things will put more life back into it. I did a Fresh install of Windows 10 and boy it starts like it used to. I have only added one game so far and even that started faster then the last time. I dont have my personal files or some of my more used programs reinstalled yet but hopefully things stay to the good. I am not use to getting into my laptop but watched a couple videos and found it was easy to install.
