The original ssd in my ancient Minix died. Purchased this as a replacement/upgrade. Installed windows and set this as main drive. Working well and speedier startup than the previous drive.

purchased for iMac hd for a hub (hub has a enclosure for hd card) great price and worked perfectectly( read write speed seem accurate) Similar to working off internal drive dont hesitate to buy

The Timetec 1tb M2 ssd is definitely great value for your money. If you don’t want to drop $100 on a name brand ssd and don’t necessarily care about a few milliseconds in difference of loading speed in your games or large files then definitely get this ssd. I will say the speed of this SSD is a little slow compared to others but it is really great for the price. Great starter ssd or even an additional ssd to add some storage for non-essential files

Timetec not a household (or even geek) name. But the excellent pricing and Amazon return policy, (and company reach-out) prompted me to git this 2TB SATA 6 drive a try. I cloned quickly and easily with Acronis and I was rewarded with 10-20% faster boot-up than my previous Crucial 1TB SATA SSD. No reason to think this wont last. Would absolutely buy again, and may soon, for another @TB upgrade on another computer.

so simple to get the basic parts and make your own SSD bkups today. save $$ going for the 3.5 in adaptor too for us Old Machines.

My PC Boots so fast now. I cloned my Western Digital 1tb hard drive to the Timetec 1TB SSD and everything is so much faster now. I am going to like this. I like Timetec products and installed 32gb of their ram a few months ago. I bought 2 of the Timetec 1 tb SSDs and the other one will be the system drive for another pc I am building. Could not me more pleased! I am running Win 10, I7 4.0 GHz on a Gigabyte Motherboard w 32 Gigs of ram.

I have no complaints or concerns so far. However, I use these as usb boot up hard drives for many Linux Raspberry Pi 4, fours that I am programming. I bought this one to setup the Raspberry pi OS to bootup thru a usb port so I could program on my Asus X200ca laptop. I ran into issues with the bios which doesnt allow because I learned the bios firmware needs to be updated to permit the temp change. Still researching how to do this, as I tried all that I found on Youtube and no luck so far. This M.2 drive is very reliable for many uses.. Thank you Timetec! Joe Garofalo Boca Raton, Fl
