Bought because it was light weight. It does seem like I have to vacuum really slow and go over the same spot a couple times to get all the dog hair. I probably wouldnt buy this again!!!

I rarely write a review like this, but this may be the best thing I have ever purchased. This model was highly rated by consumer reports and had the best rating to price ratio of all the models. We picked it up to clean up a couple hallways where my cats keep tracking litter. BUT I quickly started using it to vacuum my entire house. Note: I do not use this on carpeted floors, just travertine, tile, hard wood, and small welcome mat size rugs. We have tile and hard wood through most of our house and this things will do about 2000 ft2 per charge and does it well enough that I never pull out my corded vac. I can also do my stairs in about a minute without the fear of my vacuum hose pulling me down the stairs. The lighted power head has extremely bright white lights on the front, so i can see the dust tracks of where I have vacuumed and what I missed. It is amazing and the powered head is small enough to fit between my toilet and the wall. I cant speak on the longevity of this thing, because Ive only used it a month, but I love it enough that I want a second one for upstairs.

This thing has so much suction and is so quiet I thought there was something wrong with it on high power vacuuming my carpet, it literally sticks to the floor. Our area rugs look absolutely amazing and the amount of hair and dust particles that came up were absolutely unbelievable. This is after using our Shark Vacuum that recently crapped out and clogged with hair EVERY SINGE TIME. The tineco a11 pet ex works best on setting 1 or 2 on carpet, 3 on hard floors and 3 to deep clean the carpet but takes a little more effort. Great accessories, second battery is a must!! If you want something quick and light with big power for half the price of a dyson this is it. If you want to spend $500-$600 get the tineco s15 pet ex. If youre completely insane get the newest dyson.

I absolutely love this vacuum. I dont have any negative feedback except for an improvement suggestion which would be to include an extra for vacuuming thin rugs. Works well on carpet, but if you have thin rugs it will suck them. Other than that, Im very happy with my purchase!

In order to empty the bin after only 3 minutes of picking up my dogs hair, one needs to remove the entire center assembly which contains the pre-filter. This is no different from any similar non-bagged cordless vacuum. Actually, this is probably still easier to empty of the dog hair than other non-bagged cordless vacuum in this respect. I use this vacuum almost exclusively to pick up dog hair. Even though it’s not very good at Containing the hair in the bin, it still might be the best tool for this job. The cyclone doesn’t work; after 30 seconds of picking up hair, there is no cyclone. The reason I use this tool for this purpose, that it is clearly not designed for, is because, my iRobot vacuum is also not designed for this, the hair clogs up the iRobot very quickly. Using this tool for several minutes in each room before the Roomba does its work, Effectively makes the total job easier. Also between major cleanings picking up his hair is much easier. It is the most noticeable thing on the floor. I have a large golden retriever. He sheds about a sweater’s worth every several days. His fur is very soft. Since I collect so much of this wonderful soft fur I am considering contacting Cruella de Vil.

This product is for hard floors and tight rugs definitely not carpet. It did not remove pet hair off of the carpet. Good for hard floors, quiet and easy to maneuver.

We decided to try a stick vacuum so we could more easily just grab it and run it without having to worry about cords and outlets. We only had this for a little over week but made sure to run it often so we could decide if we liked it, it took a few hours to initially charge the battery before giving it a try. Our main level is fairly small, we have two carpeted areas and two hard floor areas and we were able to clean the entire downstairs on a single charge on the lowest power setting. On the highest power setting we couldnt vacuum more than one of the carpeted rooms. The trigger has a handy trigger lock which helps you avoid fatigue from holding the button, thats a really great touch. The vacuum seemed to do a good job overall, were 2 adults so its just normal dirt tracked in from the garage or the patio, or food crumbs in the kitchen. We found it was very easy to empty the dirt cup after vacuuming - just hold it over the wastebasket, push a button, and the dirt falls out of the cup. Sometimes some fuzzy dirt or hair would stick in there a bit and need a little help, but overall thats the same as our corded vacuum. The main thing that was important to me was a vacuum that didnt get hair wrapped around the roller, as thats been a huge problem with our corded vacuum. For this reason we specifically bought the Pet version rather than another, as these are supposed to be better designed for hair. This vacuum is fantastic in this respect, the roller looks like it would get hair tangled because it has brushes on it, but I was surprised to see that it doesnt get twisted and tangled full of hair. Sometimes I found a hair or two that was mostly just there - almost just laying on the roller so it can easily be removed with your fingers. The biggest downside for me is the filters. There are inner filters that are a bit of a pain, not horrible but just more putzy than I prefer. Theres a pre-filter that has a handy provided attachment for cleaning it, which youre supposed to do after every time you vacuum. They provided a 2nd pre-filter, so you swap out the dirty one and replace it with the clean one, then put the dirty one into the provided attachment, snap that onto the power head (the handle piece with the trigger), turn on the power and rotate the pre-filter inside the tool to clean the dirty filter. This way youll have a clean pre-filter ready for next time. This works well but its an added step you dont have to do with most corded vacuums. Additionally, theres an inner metal mesh piece inside the power head that get hair wrapped around it, so you may have to pull that out to clean the hair from it when cleaning the pre-filter. Lastly theres a HEPA filter, which I checked each time but it hasnt shown any dirt yet, but thats yet another filter that may need cleaning or replacing at some point. While using the vacuum I also found that when removing the power roller attachment to use the wand on a cobweb or something above floor level, you have the power head in one hand, then reach down to push the latch to disconnect the power roller attachment - but its held in place fairly tightly so I had to hold that piece to the floor with my foot to disconnect it. I feel like this is a breakage waiting to happen. Overall this is a pretty good stick vacuum for the price, but theres more after care & cleaning thats needed that I just dont want to do. We decided this just isnt the right one for us, but for many people this will be perfect for their needs as it does clean well.

I live in the basement of my parents home with my rag doll cat and I have to vacuum a lot. With him being a long haired cat little clumps of fur just fall off of him no matter how much I brush him. I was tired of having to use a normal vacuum every time I turned around so I did some research and came upon this vacuum. This vacuum has been amazing for picking up those clumps and getting up the litter that he tracks around. I can vacuum the whole basement which is quite large before the battery runs out. I can usually get one full vacuum of the basement and 2-3 spot vacuums through the rest of the week before having to charge again. I have been using it for about a month and a half and I’m so glad I got this.

The battery time is awful only last about 15 to 20 minutes and takes about 3 hrs. To charge. I cannot complete my cleaning in that amount of time unless I get another battery.

I wasnt expecting much for $150 but this vacuum works great. Its also unbelievably lightweight so I use it several times a day. If you vacuum hardwood floors with the lights off the lights on the vacuum illuminate every speck of dust which makes it enjoyable to vacuum. The battery lasts about 20 minutes which is enough to sweep 1200 ft2 of hardwood floors. The attachments are handy too. Im very pleasantly surprised by how well this vacuum works. I put my full size Dyson vacuum out in the garage because I rarely need it now.
