The umbrella worked fine for years until a small linkage broke. Followed Totes instructions on warranty claims and sent in the required materials and $5.00. Less than two weeks later a new umbrella was delivered.

Lifetime warranty invalid outside US and Canda, furious! 3-4 months use then one of the spokes broke. Amazon returns wont give me a refund after 2 and a half months, and the lifetime. So much for super strong

Good umbrella for a big/tall person or you could get by with two people if need be. Auto open and close are snappy and the build feels solid. My only complaint that you may have to exert a lot of force to fasten the velcro for storage, almost to the point where you are worried about damaging the canopy. Another eighth of an inch of fabric would have been perfect.

Solid umbrella but internal components have sharp edges and do not look any different from other lower cost and quality Totes umbrellas. Love the wide velcro closure and has a very smooth open and close.

Great value for the money. Good quality construction that is designed to stand up to high winds much better than some costlier brands.

Compact design. Solid materials and good construction. Slightly large and heavy for a backpack.

Why only 3 stars? Its the last mile on this umbrella, the high impact pastic rods typical of all Totes to flecks the canopy, they get broken easily. I also regret not getting a vented model+,
