> 3 dayGreat value for the money. Good quality construction that is designed to stand up to high winds much better than some costlier brands.

> 3 dayI have bought two of these. the first one worked like a champ and will do so again as you will see in a minute. The first one has a broken rib so it dangles a bit when opened, so i decided to get a second one, and use the first as a back up. So i get the second one, and have used it for about a month though not as often as the first. All went well, until last night. i had opened it when i got home to let it dry out. i went to close it, and when i pressed the button, it did something to the whole mechanism and i could not get the darn thing closed. or reset. or anything. it is now in the trash bin.Okay, i understand that things break, it is the way of things, especially anymore, but considering the price, which while not stratospheric it does pinch a bit, i would have expected better. Heck, i would have expected better from the Totes brand. I have lost many an umbrella, but this is the first one i have owned that just flat out packed it in. i take the bus. had it pulled those stunts there, it would have been a mess....

> 3 dayThis seems very strong and its compact and works well. I dont know why this is listed as womens accessories. The black one works well for mem, too.

> 3 dayThis umbrella is very frustrating to use. I had to replace this umbrella with a different brand because this umbrella kept opening by itself. I have to always make sure that I use the Velcro to close the umbrella or else itll pop open. The only good thing is that it feels sturdy, but I might also accidentally hit someone with the umbrella when it automatically opens, so the sturdiness factor is actually bad in that case.

> 3 dayWell worth the money. Pay attention when you close it. Stows away small enough to stash out of the way in your car.

> 3 daySo far so good. Remember TOTES includes a lifetime warranty ! Collapses down to reasonable size for your luggage or large purse. Nice size - 47 inch canopy. Recommend.

> 3 dayI sent this umbrella to my granddaughter away at college after a storm broke two umbrellas. It’s standing up nicely to the NYC rains. The one hand open and close is perfect when your hands are full.

Greater than one weekWhy only 3 stars? Its the last mile on this umbrella, the high impact pastic rods typical of all Totes to flecks the canopy, they get broken easily. I also regret not getting a vented model+,

> 3 dayTheres a bright yellow caution label on the strap that wraps around the umbrella to hold it together. When youre using the umbrella, the yellow looks stupid against a black umbrella. You cant cut off the whole label; the yellow part is sewn to it with the same stitching that holds the velcro strap on. They should have made the part that cant be cut off black, and put the yellow at the end thats easy to cut off. The umbrella itself works well.
