> 3 dayI had one and left it in a hotel a few months ago, after looking at many other options I came right back to this one. Its just about the right size to easily fit in my backpack but still offers enough coverage and its very sturdy. I took my old one to over 30 countries and it lasted me several years.

> 3 dayNice standard umbrella. Compact size when folded, good coverage when opened. Have not tested it yet. Just received it.

> 3 daySo far so good. Remember TOTES includes a lifetime warranty ! Collapses down to reasonable size for your luggage or large purse. Nice size - 47 inch canopy. Recommend.

> 3 dayGot this to replace another umbrella that was supposedly designed to withstand gusty winds. This Totes umbrella is much better even though its not vented because it uses fairly thick metal ribs instead of the plastic ribs on the Gustbuster. The metal ribs seem to be flexible enough to take the wind, but wont snap like the plastic ribs. Obviously not for hurricane-force winds, but is great for breezy rainstorms.

> 3 dayLifetime warranty invalid outside US and Canda, furious! 3-4 months use then one of the spokes broke. Amazon returns wont give me a refund after 2 and a half months, and the lifetime. So much for super strong

Greater than one weekTheres plenty of confusion here on sizing. First of all, there are apparently both mens and womens Titan umbrellas with different sizes for each (never mind the box has no gender label). Second, the dimensions given by Totes reflect what they call the Arc Dimensions, which is a perfectly useless and deceptive measurement, since it traces the circumference/curvature of the umbrella canopy rather than a measurement on a straight plane. Totes claims 47 for the arc dimension of this umbrella, but measuring straight across at the widest point yields a measurement of just 42. Way too small for a tall person with a big stride, despite claims here that the umbrella is big enough for several people. This umbrellas going back.

> 3 dayI have bought two of these. the first one worked like a champ and will do so again as you will see in a minute. The first one has a broken rib so it dangles a bit when opened, so i decided to get a second one, and use the first as a back up. So i get the second one, and have used it for about a month though not as often as the first. All went well, until last night. i had opened it when i got home to let it dry out. i went to close it, and when i pressed the button, it did something to the whole mechanism and i could not get the darn thing closed. or reset. or anything. it is now in the trash bin.Okay, i understand that things break, it is the way of things, especially anymore, but considering the price, which while not stratospheric it does pinch a bit, i would have expected better. Heck, i would have expected better from the Totes brand. I have lost many an umbrella, but this is the first one i have owned that just flat out packed it in. i take the bus. had it pulled those stunts there, it would have been a mess....
