> 24 hourMy original dimmer plug died within 4 days of use. Contacted Treatlife customer service and they quickly sent a replacement. Im hoping I have better luck with this second dimmer plug, but you can be confident in the customer service.

> 24 hourDimming of outdoor string lights is essential to control the outdoor vibe, especially with multiple strings that can be bright and harsh. I was using a tabletop lamp dimmer duct-taped into a baggie and tucked under an eve. Definitely not optimal and potentially dangerous. It was time to find an outdoor-rated dimmer. I didnt think I needed any smart home functionality, I mean, its just a dimmer, right? But man is this thing fun! Alexa integration works great. Name the plug anything you want eg terrace, patio, pool, etc.) and say Alexa, turn on patio. Alexa, set patio to 55 percent. And the like. But really, the app is even better! After all, youll be outside with your phone while youre enjoying the lighting. The apps home page is simple, just an on/off button and a dim level slider that will dim in real time (lights dim as you move the slider, not after you stop moving it) in increments of 1%. Within the app you also have the option to set upper and lower dim range limits in case you have dimmable LEDs that tend to flicker when too dim. When you turn off the lights the dimmer does a soft off quick fade. Awesome addition to our outdoor hangout area. IMPORTANT TIP: When pairing and setting up the dimmer, follow the PRINTED INSTRUCTIONS that come in the box, NOT the steps in the app. The app is more generic to all of Treatlifes products and does not contain critical steps specific to this plug. Setup is very easy but you will not get it on the network without the printed steps.

> 24 hourI have now purchased two of these since I liked the first one. I use them to control outside café lights from my phone and using voice with Google Home. Having the dimming option is great (I typically keep the café lights at only 10% as theyre around a fire pit and I like to enjoy the fire light). Update: I recently had one of the dimmers fail but when I reached out to customer support they promptly replaced it for me. Very happy all around with this product/company.

> 24 hourLoved the integration with sunrise/sunset times and Google Home integration. Unfortunately product stopped working after 3 months. **UPDATE: Reached out to company and they said they would honor a 24 month warranty. Helped me try to troubleshoot. When that did not work, they sent me a new smart plug. Thank you!

> 24 hourEasy to use smart plug with dimming feature. The App found and added the device effortlessly. Just wish it has a slightly longer cord. but still better than having to be plugged into the socket directly and taking up the whole thing.

> 24 hourWhen the TreatLife app upgrades, it often loses the user credentials. When trying to re-input username/email and password, it fails. The reset password fails. It has required me to make whole new accounts just to be able to use the app again. Overall decent hardware, and the app is fine when the credentials are working, but I wouldnt recommend this due to the pain of it losing accounts all the time.

> 24 hourSo I had this Treatlife Smart Dimmer plug for a few weeks, controlling my outdoor patio lights. Synced very fast with Alexa and life was good. Then one day it stopped working, the light turned on once and then off. So I tried a hailmary and reached out to the seller. Guess what they shipped a replacement two days after I emailed them. Now thats service and just like before quick and easy sync with Alexa and now we have smart lights once again on the patio. Great item and even better seller.

> 24 hourOrdered this dimmer for outdoor string lights I recently purchased for our patio. It took me a few tries to sync it up to my WiFi and pair to my Alexa device, but once I did, it works like a charm. The app is great, too. Several options for automation and timers. Certainly exceeds my expectations.

> 24 hourI have been wanting to buy a smart outdoor light controller for a while. I have a light-sensor switch to turn on the light for my flagpole from dusk to dawn--but it often turns itself on during cloudy days or when the plants grow too tall around it. I have wanted to get an app-controlled switch that can be programmed to know when dusk and dawn are and only activate during those hours. Since I already have a few Treatlife light switches and plugs already running in their app, I have been waiting for them to release an outdoor plug controller. I didnt want to buy from another company and have to have multiple phone apps to control light devices. Im happy they finally have this available. It is a reasonable size: 4 3/8 x 2 5/16 x 1 5/8 and sturdy enough. It has a solid mounting hold on the back that allows you to mount it onto a nail or screw head. Once I plugged it in, it was ready to pair with my existing Smart Life app. It was super easy to pair. I used my existing Smart Home app that has my other devices configured and it recognized the new plug and walked through the set up process which took less than a minute. It was mildly concerning that once configured, the Smart Life app told me the device was unsupported, that I needed to use the new Treatlife app. I downloaded the new app and found it works just about the same as the Smart Life app, with one notable exception: the new app does not provide add to Siri links for automation shortcuts. I contacted Treatlife and they said that the old Smart Life app works perfectly fine with the outdoor smart switch, so I have been using that app without any issues. I easily added On/Off actions for the plugs and added them to Siri, so I can just say Hey Siri, outdoor lights on to activate the switch. I didnt test Alexa/Google Home integration as I just let Siri handle things for me. I also added it onto my on at sunset and off at dawn automation schedules. I did find one small concern. When connecting a circuit tester, I discovered that the hot and neutral lines are reversed. I contacted Treatlife support regarding this and they have promised to fix this in future manufacturing runs. Since I am only going to run some outdoor lights from the switch, its no big deal. But, if youre running any appliances, you may want to see if theres any concern about the reversed hot/neutral. The only limitation I can see is the range of my 2.4 GHz wifi network (its not compatible with 5 Ghz). I have seen some smart plugs that have dual output plugs which would be handy at times (thinking ahead to Christmas lights) but I am happy to stick with Treatlife--a name I have trusted thus far.
