Greater than one weekI purchased this dimmer for my outdoor string lights. I was able to utilize the app to set the dimmer level and a schedule for it to turn on and off. It worked great for a few months but then it wouldnt dim anymore. It ran at 100% brightness. There customer service was fantastic. They had me try a few things to correct the issue but when that didnt work, they immediately sent me a knew dimmer, free of charge. The new one has been working as expected.

> 3 dayMy wife ordered a string of edison lights for our backyard. The Treatlife DP10 smart plug was recommended for outdoor light automation so we ordered it. I plugged the device into a wall outlet and used my phone to download the app from the QR code and was able to setup the device within a few minutes. Once it was tethered to my home router I plugged it into the outdoor cord. Worked great the first night and then we had a storm that caused my home power to flicker. This appears to have caused the DP10 to reset and lose the configuration as the light on the device was red instead of white. The remedy was simple, I went through the configuration again with my smartphone and then plugged it back in. No issues since. I have not experienced issues with rain water getting in and shorting the unit as some have suggested. I was able to integrate this plug with Alexa fairly easily. I saved the device as a light in place of a plug in Alexa. This then let me use some canned routines Sunset lights to turn lights on 5 minutes before sunset and a turn-off lights routine for late at night. So far no issues with Alexa integration. This is a solid smart plug for the price. Dont just take my word for it check out the Possum looking at the edison lights in the third picture :-)

> 3 dayWorks good overall, but I have had a few annoyances. Ive had the about three weeks now. 1) Setup wasnt a complete breeze. Not terrible but I did have to remove the devices from the app and add them back a couple of times to get it to go through. 2) Several times both plugs (I bought 2) have gone offline, not at the same time. At least thats what Alexa says. Unplugging them from power and plugging back in causes them to start working again. 3) Ive noticed a flickering in my LED light strings when set to a low setting like 10%. Its not awful, but enough to be annoying.

> 3 dayOnly hay use the button control on 3 strings of dimmable lights, works great. Had to disassemble when it got full of water(from light rain) to dry out it out. Now it is only hooked up when is use, does not stay outside.

Greater than one weekI so much wanted this dimmer to work with my LED string patio lights. I didnt even care if the Alexa integration worked or not...I just wanted a manual dimmer. After I plugged the string lights into the unit, I pressed the button to turn them on and everything seemed to work. The dimming range was very limited but acceptable. The problem I had was that the wall outlet I have to use for the string lights is on the same circuit as some can lights that are operated by a wall switch, which also has a dimmer. I found out that turning on the wall switch not only turns on the can lights that are directly connected to it, it also turns on the string lights that are plugged into the wall outlet. By the way, the wall outlet is definitely not connected to the can light switch. Both outlets on the duplex wall outlet are hot all the time regardless of the on-off position of the wall switch; they are merely on the same breaker circuit from by power panel. So, I took the Treatlife dimmer out of the connection so the string lights were plugged directly into the wall outlet. With that configuration, the can light switch has no effect on the string lights. I have to plug the string lights in to turn them on and unplug them to turn them off...or course I cant dim them but they work as expected. I then plugged the Treatlife dimmer back into the wall outlet and plugged the string lights into the Treatlife dimmer. Back to the problem of the can light wall switch turning on the string lights. Even worse, when I use the can light dimmer to dim the can lights, the Treatlife dimmer responds by quickly pulsing the string lights from off to on, off to on, etc. This problem seems bizarre to me but I dont have any option but to return the unit and look for a different dimmer for the string lights. Maybe this problem is unique to me because of my wiring configuration but you may have the same problem if you use other dimmers on the same circuit breaker. UPDATE: April 9, 2021 - Treatlife immediately responded to my review by offering to send me a newer version of the dimmer at no charge to see if it will work in my circuit. Im hopeful it will but think the company deserves five stars for excellent customer support. UPDATE: April 12, 2021 - Treatlife sent the new dimmer via expedited shipping, which deserves five stars for customer support. However, the “updated” dimmer was the exact same model I initially received. The replacement dimmer did not solve my problem. Other dimmer switches on the same breaker circuit that do not control the duplex outlet I am using for the Treatlife dimmer still turn the Treatlife dimmer on/off and dim and pulse the lights connected to the Treatlife dimmer. So, my initial caution still applies...be careful if you plan to use this dimmer on a circuit that has other dimmer switches.

> 3 dayLoved the integration with sunrise/sunset times and Google Home integration. Unfortunately product stopped working after 3 months. **UPDATE: Reached out to company and they said they would honor a 24 month warranty. Helped me try to troubleshoot. When that did not work, they sent me a new smart plug. Thank you!
