> 3 dayProduct works well and is easy to install. More impressive is the customer service. The initial item I received got water in it during a heavy rainstorm due to the angle it was sitting (definitely have the outlet opening facing down!). One quick email and a new one was sent out to replace it (which has now survived successive rainstorms suggesting it might have been more user error than product error).

> 3 dayLove that I can operate my gazebo lights from my phone now. You can set a timer and dim the lights exactly as you like them.

> 3 dayBought this to control my new outdoor patio hanging lights. Works perfectly! I set it up using the Tuya Smart app (which I already had, that controls many devices in my house). Plugged it in, fired up the Tuya Smart app, and the app immediately recognized it as a new device and allowed me to add it. I am able to remotely turn the lights on/off, dim and schedule them. Works with Alexa via the Tuya Smart skill. No issues picking up the wifi signal in my backyard.

> 3 dayMy wife ordered a string of edison lights for our backyard. The Treatlife DP10 smart plug was recommended for outdoor light automation so we ordered it. I plugged the device into a wall outlet and used my phone to download the app from the QR code and was able to setup the device within a few minutes. Once it was tethered to my home router I plugged it into the outdoor cord. Worked great the first night and then we had a storm that caused my home power to flicker. This appears to have caused the DP10 to reset and lose the configuration as the light on the device was red instead of white. The remedy was simple, I went through the configuration again with my smartphone and then plugged it back in. No issues since. I have not experienced issues with rain water getting in and shorting the unit as some have suggested. I was able to integrate this plug with Alexa fairly easily. I saved the device as a light in place of a plug in Alexa. This then let me use some canned routines Sunset lights to turn lights on 5 minutes before sunset and a turn-off lights routine for late at night. So far no issues with Alexa integration. This is a solid smart plug for the price. Dont just take my word for it check out the Possum looking at the edison lights in the third picture :-)

> 3 dayThis is second one I bought. First is 3 or 4 years old and dimmable with incandescent lights and I think with some led, but not ones I bought. Works great with Alexa To turn on/off or if you set up a routine. . Makes Christmas decorating easy too.

> 3 daySo good that I ordered a second for another set of lights, and may order a third! For those of you wondering, this does have a physical switch / dimmer you can use without your phone. Theres a single button that you tap to turn the lights on and off, or hold down to dim/brighten (it starts going one direction until it maxes out then goes the other direction). Wifi setup was very simple, and, while I havent looked into the fancier settings yet, the basic controls on the app more than meet my needs of manual on/off and a brightness slider. Ive made use of the timer feature as well to make sure we dont forget to turn the lights off after a night of partying. The construction seems solid and pretty rugged. I expect it will last a long time, even outside. I also like that it provides a slot to hook onto a screw or nail for easy wall mounting. My one suggested update is to have a longer power cord. Unless you have an outlet within about a foot of where you want this switch to be, youll need an extension. In my particular scenario, we had to run an extension along the side of the house. That extension goes to a triple outlet staked into the ground because I need at least 2 switches at this location and want to keep the connections off the ground to avoid potential issues with puddles. However, if I connect this switch directly to that staked outlet it will only be about 1.5 feet off the ground, which is pretty inconvenient for using the physical button. This means that I need to either live with that; buy and install another 3-6 ft outdoor extension, causing a setup of extension -> landscape outlet -> extension -> switch -> extension -> lights; mount the switch and leave the outlet hanging (ghetto and probably not 100% weather safe); or, hopefully, find a different cheap outdoor splitter that can be mounted to the wall right beneath the switch. I feel like the power cord should be 3-4 ft, which is long enough to go from the floor, where most extension cords reside, to a normal & convenient height to use the button.

> 3 dayI bought this dimmer 2+ years ago. I moved houses and changed routers, and I think I messed with it so much it got stuck thinking it was connected to a wrong WiFi address and had some trouble resetting it. After contacting customer support, they went out of there way to give me great directions, and after finding out something went wrong with the product, they stood by their product and helped me get a working one. They truly cared about me and my experience, the app works flawlessly to control everything, and instantly connected during setup. It does exactly what you think - provides a good app to smart control multiple strings of LED lights by turning them on, off, and with dimming levels.

Greater than one weekThis dimmer is easy to utilize and set up. The app is effective for timed on and off. There are scene options allowing for sunset and sunrise options. The one disappointing aspect is the I’ve not figured out how to turn the lights on at sunset and off at a specific time.
