> 24 hourI purchased this about a month ago for our companies box truck Isuzu 1999, I was awaiting to drive at least a 500 miles before review but I am seeing a huge improvement now at my about 420 miles, the truck used to be really rough especially on the red lights and sometimes it felt like engine was going to stop, some how that has stop as well as overall smooth and seen a little reduce on the gas also. Hope that this is a long lasting solution and we dont have to buy a new truck for our deliveries.

> 24 hourI added this to my Land Rover TDi. 135k. It works. Ive always been a bit skeptical about stuff on the internet (and even sometimes Amazon), but it works. After only 200 miles, my car is smoking way less, and the leaks that were there are just not happening. Im frankly shocked. The blow-by that was happening has been significantly reduced. I also want to add that the folks at Tribotex were helpful in suggesting other causes/fixes for my issues. I had already done them, so it didnt seem to matter here for this successful usage, but I was pleased at their holisitic customer service!

> 24 hourI bought this for my 2009 Acura TSX. The engines used in the TSX from 09-11 are known for having bad carbon build up on the piston rings due to the rings being fractionally too small thus causing abrasions in the cylinder wall and oil burning. Before using this product, I had the PCV replaced since it was clogged. Oil consumption went from 1qt per 700-800 miles, down to around 1qt per 1500-1700 miles. Needless to say, if your car is burning oil, check that before buying this product. But 1qt per 1500 miles is still quite high and given that my engine probably has the abrasions on the cylinder walls, too, I decided to give this product a try. With a fresh oil change and new oil filter, I added it and after about 2500 miles, Ive had to add 1qt of oil. I cant say for certain that this product really works since I didnt use it till the summer time and my work commute changed quite a bit from winter to spring to summer... An ice cold engine at start up in the middle of winter is going to burn more oil, especially an engine with the problems like mine has. So I guess the real test will be once the temps start to drop a lot outside.

> 24 hourI have a 2001 Subaru Outback with a 2.5 liter 4 cylinder and the last couple of years the drivers side head has been clattering and has been getting worse as time goes by. To the point where I was giving thoughts of selling the car or getting the engine rebuilt. I thought well what the heck maybe I can look into some oil additives to quite it down until at least next spring and I might try to rebuild it myself to save money. I stumbled upon Tribo TEX on Amazon and read the specs and reviews and even though this stuff is not cheap I gave it a shot. So I changed the oil and filter even though it was not due just because it made sense to me. (By the way I recommend maybe mixing it up with say a quarter quart oil before squeezing it into the oil filler neck and maybe heating the oil and Tribo TEX in the micro wave or pan on the stove until it dissolves together. I changed the oil at 40 degrees outside and had some issue with the Tribo TEX sticking to the filler neck.) I ran the car at idle on jacks for about an hour while I looked for an anti freeze leak, and then finished up and parked it in my detached garage overnight. I drove the car the next day about 23 miles and I already have noticed a big difference. Not only has the noise become a lot quieter but I believe it has more get up and go, and it seems to be running smoother. Now two days later I started the car this morning and the outside temp was about 15 degrees, the engine did clatter at first but quieted down pretty quickly and I now have about 50 miles on it since adding the Tribo TEX. The literature says it takes 500 miles before it is completely through all the bearing surfaces properly. So my opinion is this stuff is appearing to be worth the money and I am already discussing putting it in my wifes car, my 6.0 liter turbo diesel truck, and my big block V8 7.3 liter boat engine.
