I put it in, and now Ive put 300 miles on my truck, can only hope that after another 2,500 miles and my next oil change that it has done its thing. You cant afford to put it in with every oil change! I bought the transmission version also, hopefully it will help with hard shifts...but thats for another review.

Bought this as preventative maintenance for my 2000 Prius with 167k miles. Within 5 minutes of installation into a fresh oil change the car became so quiet I could no longer tell the engine was running. It wasnt loud before, but now it was silent. I reset my mileage calculator on the dash which previously had me getting a solid 40mpg +/- 1mpg. It has been steadily climbing. Now that Ive crossed the 500 mile mark Im getting a solid 44.7mpg. Im wondering if it will increase further but am very pleased with the improvement thus far. Its not cheap but I like to take care of my older car anyway and if this gets me another 40k miles of trouble free operation then it is priceless. I will reorder in 40k miles as recommended.

I have tried almost every snake oil out there and there are only three I have ever found that worked, Tribotex is one of them and I have used it in five cars and have experienced with excellent results. 4 to 6 percent better mileage, and I have used them in both the transmission and engine. It was a noticeable difference, let me put it this way is was like driving a newer, different, car because of the engine noise drop and the overall feel of the car improved. Most snake oils only increase viscosity and make you think there is a real improvement, when they just mask the problems. Just like doctors that give you pain meds. to cover up the real symptoms, etc. without dealing with the real problems. The last thing is the fact is that the material wears out over time, which does not leave a metal damaging residue. I am also looking forward to improvements that make it last longer and the particles lining themselves up in a desirable pattern improving the overall performance even more! I am buying a new expensive performance car and I plan on adding this product as recommended after the first oil change. Transmission too

It’s easy to add, after the 15 minute warm up I noticed a difference in the sound of the motor after starting also have hit the 500 mile mark and it’s stayed the same so what I can say is it improved the sound of the motor but it’s not a fix all people expect to much from the product but it works just don’t expect a new motor by adding an oil additive

I was skeptical at first but, at 501 miles to the mile my Jeep Grand Cherokee got more horse power and the engine knock quieted down. I now get more power. Last time I check I went from 0 to 60 in 5 seconds. Not sure what it did before I put it in, because I never checked. I don’t think they would charge a $100.00 if it wasn’t worth it. I also have a older Jeep Cherokee with the 4.0 straight six that had a loud lifter knock which they are notorious for and it made it quieter. Gas mileage is the same but, cheaper than a new engine. I will buy again if need be but, don’t know when to add a new one. You get what you pay for and I think it is worth every penny. Matter of fact I have bought this for other people and promote it without a penny in return. Just because no one knows about this product unless you look for it. I also did extensive research before purchasing. Most reviews are positive. I don’t know if you change the oil if it still effective but, I would assume that it stays in the engine as it sticks to the inner workings of the engine. Will buy again on new car.

Made mercury Grand Marquis run quite. Car 25 years old. Dad car had 127,000 miles. 3 year I had it put 50,000 on it. Put plugs and plug wires. Head gasket. Water pump and alternator. Engine had noise. Warmed car up. Put turbo-Tex in. Drove 135 miles. Run quite and cooler. Happy with it. Being old car it get good gas mileage. V-8. Many more miles left in it.

Hard to tell whether this product worked just yet I have 1000 miles on my truck cents adding to my engine oil. I will say i Did get a bit more oil pressure after the 500 miles and engine quieted down some. Still a bit skeptical but I would try it again.
