I don’t see why these people are giving a 1 star rating. I have been a mechanic for over 30 years. I have a 2006 Jeep Wrangler with 178,000 miles on it. I added this product and I noticed differences right away. I live in a mountainous area and since using this product my shifting and engine RPM pattern has been way different. Hills that I used to have to downshift on are a thing of the past. I feel this product took my engine back to 78,000 miles instead of it having 178,000 miles. I am really tempted to use it in my transmission, transfer case and differentials. I wish I knew someone that had a high mileage vehicle that vislabaly burnt oil to try this product in to see if and how this product worked on it.

I read lots of positive reviews and decided to buy one dose for my 1995 VW golf GTI. It has just over 350000 miles and I drive it very hard. I run it with Amsoil racing oil 10w30. Using Amsoil has made the engine very quiet and I got a significant increase in power over the other full synthetic oil one can buy in stores. I was kind of skeptic about this product but I put one dose in the crankcase of my golf. The noise level went down almost instantly. I started it this morning and notice that even cold its more quiet than before I added the product. Ive driven only 50 miles and to be honest, I havent noticed any increase in power yet but the product is supposed to works at its full potential after 500 miles. Any way I have decided to get 2 mores doses for my trucks. 1990 Dodge dakota V6 and 1993 Dodge dakota V8. Ill update my reveiw in a couple of weeks when both my trucks and my car will have passed the 500 miles mark.

I bought this for my 2005 Saab 9-3 Aero Turbo with 134k+ miles on the odometer. The instructions said it takes 500 miles for full effect. Within 100 miles I noted that my engine was idling much more smoothly, to the extent I had to check the tach to make sure it hadnt stalled. Previously the car had a problem with increased turbo lag, but within 300 miles after I added TriboTEX the turbo had become much more responsive. There was a time when I had thought I would need to replace this car, but now it feels like its good for at least another 50k. I have since bought TriboTEX for my other cars, a 2006 (165k) and 2009 (110k) Saab 9-3 V6 Turbo Aeros, and both have shown increased performance and better gas mileage. While TriboTEX may seem expensive, the benefits in improved performance and gas mileage means it pays for itself in the long run.

This stuff really works. I felt the power increase within a few minutes of adding it to my engine. I have added it to, now, at least 5 cars/trucks. In every vehicle it has reduced noise, increased ease of starting, quieted the engine, added slightly to felt power, and in those places Ive measured it, it has increased my mileage by ~10% (more than I expected). They have been very responsive on subsequent orders.

I ride share. So I needed something to alliviate all the stress on the engine; ........ I love my car again. If you ride share you should know that car service company cars are ordered with special heavy duty parts. The driving hours are not considered normal, and you will incure unexpected auto repair bills, if you drive enough miles, that are not considered normal driving conditions, by the manufacturer. Most products on the market are soaps. This is not a soap. This stuff stands up to prolonged useage. When I put it in for the first time it did everything it was supposed to do when it was suppose to do it. Buy; worth it! Good luck! Theodore.

Hard to tell whether this product worked just yet I have 1000 miles on my truck cents adding to my engine oil. I will say i Did get a bit more oil pressure after the 500 miles and engine quieted down some. Still a bit skeptical but I would try it again.

I was very skeptical about this product at first. I did a lot of research and read a lot of reviews before I decided to purchase it. I have used it on 2 vehicles so far, a 2003 GMC Envoy with 140,000 miles and a 2012 Yamaha FZ8 with 20,000 miles. I take very good care of my vehicles. I’ve noticed in the last few years that my Enovy was sluggish, rough, and noisy. 120 miles into the treatment, my Envoy is running like new! Much quieter, more responsive, and way faster. It even shifts much smoother and faster. Before, I was getting about 12 mpg. Now, I’m at 15 mpg! As for my motorcycle, I am only 30 miles into the treatment, but I have already noticed a huge improvement. The bike is performing like new! The engine is quieter and running more smoothly. The acceleration rate has improved drastically. I’ve treated my engines with Seafoam many times, but this stuff works in a much different way. I don’t write reviews very often, but I wanted everyone to know how well this product has worked for me. In my opinion, it was worth every penny.

I fully expected this to be snake oil and might as well flush the money down the toilet, but I was sorely wrong. My 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi was burning oil at about a quart a month and I was averaging about 16.8 mpg before an oil change and adding Tribotex. The results were noticeable by the end of the first tank (350 miles). Mileage has improved to about 18.2 over the last 2,000 miles on the same route with same driving habits. Oil consumption is gone, not improved, GONE. The eradication of oil consumption alone is worth trying this, but the 1+ mpg is a pleasant surprise as well since it’s like getting a free gallon of fuel per tank. That all adds up. The last plus I observed though unquantifiable is what feels like better overall torque and smoothness. I wouldn’t say it’s back to new, but the overall drivability is improved.

I bought this for my 2009 Acura TSX. The engines used in the TSX from 09-11 are known for having bad carbon build up on the piston rings due to the rings being fractionally too small thus causing abrasions in the cylinder wall and oil burning. Before using this product, I had the PCV replaced since it was clogged. Oil consumption went from 1qt per 700-800 miles, down to around 1qt per 1500-1700 miles. Needless to say, if your car is burning oil, check that before buying this product. But 1qt per 1500 miles is still quite high and given that my engine probably has the abrasions on the cylinder walls, too, I decided to give this product a try. With a fresh oil change and new oil filter, I added it and after about 2500 miles, Ive had to add 1qt of oil. I cant say for certain that this product really works since I didnt use it till the summer time and my work commute changed quite a bit from winter to spring to summer... An ice cold engine at start up in the middle of winter is going to burn more oil, especially an engine with the problems like mine has. So I guess the real test will be once the temps start to drop a lot outside.
