I have never tie dyed before, but now that I am required to wear a mask all day at work, I decided I needed to have a LOT of masks, and a LOT of fun! I had to wait on this kit, as they were out of stock when I ordered it, but it came before they initially predicted, so no complaints there. OH. MY. GOSH. The COLOR! Just LOOK at these finished masks! I used 100% cotton, pre-washed as suggested, and followed all the directions. This is after 2 trips through the washer on hot. I am absolutely THRILLED with the results. Would absolutely recommend this tie dye kit, and will purchase again if I decide to do more tie dying. The only suggestion I would make to the manufacturer is to include 2 bottles of yellow, as that is the one color I nearly ran out of. I had plenty of all the other colors, and froze 2 ice-cube trays worth to try a different method later. If that works out, I will add pics at a later date. Also, I bought a bag of smaller rubber bands, as the ones included with the kit were for larger projects. In the meantime, I will be having fun at work with all the variety!

I used this for tie-dying with my daughter. Super easy. The only thing I would suggest is diluting the colors down way more than just what they give you. I dumped out some of the powder into a Ziploc bag. The colors are very vibrant and strong and I wanted a more pastel trendy look. Are use this for tie-dying with my daughter. Super easy. I bought 2 of these for a sleepover party of 6 six year old girls. I knew it would be messy so we set it up in the driveway and the kids LOVED it! It took a little time to set up (fill the bottles with water), but I liked the squirt bottles. The gloves are a bit useless, but half the fun is getting dyed yourself. The dye requires a good bit of saturation to get the desired effects, but overall I recommend. I also did not need to even open the second box I bought.
