> 3 dayThis kit is simply amazing. I dont often write reviews, but depend on them when purchasing products so I thought I would lend my endorsement to this wonderful kit. It was so simply to use and had an enormous amount of dye and everything you would need for almost any size of project. I had to dye book bags for my class and hadnt ever tie dyed before so I was hesitant. The directions were simple, colors were gorgeous and the process was flawless. I was shocked! I was able to dye 25 cavas book bags and four mens t-shirts, but we ended up discarding all the extra dye so, honestly, we could have even done a larger project. I purchased two kits, but will save the other for next years students. What a great product and a wonderful value. Plus...it was really fun!

> 3 dayThe good: there we re a lot of colors to choose from, my daughter and I ended up doing 6 shirts and we used half of the colors (saving the rest for another time). Some of the colors were pretty similar, but that made it easy to split the kit in half. The bad: I followed the directions exactly as given, but once I washed the shirts out, they looked very faded, like we made them years ago. The kit we got last summer produced much more vibrant colors that lasted after washing, and look more vibrant even now, a year later. Overall, it is a nice kit, especially in terms of color variety and amount of product you receive. It is easy to use and comes with design suggestions (which we used, and we made some pretty cool patterns).

> 3 dayMy boyfriend loves his tie dyed Bombas socks but you can’t get them anymore. So, I ordered white ones and got this kit to do our own. I washed them first, then soaked them in soda ash solution for 20 minutes (bought a small package of it at Walmart) and then applied the colors. The little squirt bottles made it easy to apply the color. Sure, some leaked a little bit, but not bad. I put each pair of socks in a separate ziplock bag and let them set up for around 2 hrs. Then I rinsed heavily with cold water until water ran clear then took off rubber bands. Once rubber bands were removed I rinsed again until water was clear. Now time to wash them all. I love how the colors came out. I would definitely recommend this kit. It does say to let the color sit on the item for 6-7 hrs. Because I soaked in soda ash first I didn’t feel this was necessary. Also, be careful not to let items touch one another after you rinse and remove rubber bands. The colors can bleed until they’ve been washed a few times.

> 3 dayThis is the second Tulip kit I have purchased through Amazon. I was so impressed with the first one. The first one had less colors, but more dye of each color. This set had 18 colors, but the amount of each color was less. If you want to do tie dyed shirt for a party, then either one of these kits will do. They both have everything you need. The gloves, the rubber bands, etc. All you have to do is bring the shirt (or other item you want to dye) and add water to the bottles. We all made shirts and they turns out GREAT! Really. This is worth the price. I know sometimes they go on sale, but even paying $20 was totally worth it. I highly recommend. If I ever want to do anymore tie dying in the future, Tulip has my business.

> 3 dayI had several bottles that leaked when shaking to mix. The cap was on correctly. Wont return because I still used them. Color is vibrant until you wash them, then it fades

> 3 dayI had a white comforter on my bed for years. Over 30 to be exact. But as the years went by, it began to show wear and various stains made it look ratty and old. But, I saw the ad for these dyes and got an idea. I took the comforter outside and spread it out on my lawn on top of a sheet of plastic film. I stood atop a ladder over the comforter and drizzled and squirted the dyes over the comforter and created what appeared to be a Jackson Pollack piece of art. I hung it in the sun to dry, washed it in the machine( it really is bleed resistant) and now, I should receive many more years of enjoying my comforter. What ever your project, have fun!!

> 3 dayThis is a really great product. Color is bold and vibrant Tips: - Pre-mix the dye and let the powder dissolve in the water for at least an hour. - Wear all black when doing this or clothes you dont mind getting some dye on. - Do not wash these garments with other clothes for at least a few washes. Some dye comes off after each wash. - Try to keep the whole dye and rise process outside with use of a hose if possible. It makes clean up much easier. - If you are dying with lots of people gets multiple packs. I used this pack to dye 8 garments. - You will dye your hands. Keep plastic gloves on for all parts of the process.
