> 3 dayI ordered this kit with the idea to tie dye several white pieces of clothing I got at Target. I made sure the clothing I was using was at least 95% cotton or rayon. The tank top and pants set in my photos is rayon and the others are cotton. The colors are super vibrant on cotton fabric and a little more muted on rayon, but I loved how all of these turned out. I left them in plastic zip lock bags for 24 hours before rinsing, washing and drying. I was a little disappointed I only got 8 items dyed when the kit says 36 items. Maybe I used too much dye for each shirt? Either way, I am happy with my results of the pieces I was able to tie dye. I loved that it came with tons of rubber bands and a decent amount of gloves, however the gloves are not high quality and I had to use several pairs throughout the time I was tie dyeing and my hands are still stained. I would order this kit again if it ever comes back in stock.

> 3 dayThis is an extremely messy process but so fun. I set up a grate over my stainless steel sink and dyed the shirts individually over it. Between shirts, be sure to rinse your sink AND the grate or you will transfer color to the next shirt while working. It was my first time tie dyeing and I was surprised by how easy it was. I watched a few videos on Youtube and jumped right in. Im a bit obsessed now! Haha I made 6 (plus size) adult shirts, 5 toddler tshirts, 5 youth size M shirts, and 5 youth size XL shirts with this kit in combination with another smaller tulip kit (celestial). I had a littlw bit of trouble with the powder in the purple. And it definitely did some major bleeding on the projects. Only the purple though. All other colors were clear and beautiful.

> 3 dayMy boyfriend loves his tie dyed Bombas socks but you can’t get them anymore. So, I ordered white ones and got this kit to do our own. I washed them first, then soaked them in soda ash solution for 20 minutes (bought a small package of it at Walmart) and then applied the colors. The little squirt bottles made it easy to apply the color. Sure, some leaked a little bit, but not bad. I put each pair of socks in a separate ziplock bag and let them set up for around 2 hrs. Then I rinsed heavily with cold water until water ran clear then took off rubber bands. Once rubber bands were removed I rinsed again until water was clear. Now time to wash them all. I love how the colors came out. I would definitely recommend this kit. It does say to let the color sit on the item for 6-7 hrs. Because I soaked in soda ash first I didn’t feel this was necessary. Also, be careful not to let items touch one another after you rinse and remove rubber bands. The colors can bleed until they’ve been washed a few times.

> 3 dayThe product box had been sliced in the back and taped together. When we first opened the package we thought it was still ok.....then when we were filling the bottles with water to start using them we realized two of the bottles had been sliced as well. Very unhappy, the actual kit works great this was the second time we have used this product. This purchase however was very dissapointing! I will purchase in store next time to make sure the bottles are in good shape.

> 3 dayThis is a cute package but does not make as many as it says, but we expected that so we also bought Tulip 34723 One-Step Tie Dye Party Kit. We made 35 shirts between the two kits and probably had enough dye left to make 2-4 more shirts. These are size ratio we died: Y M - 8, Y L - 4, Y XL - 2, A S - 6, A M - 6, A L - 2, A XL - 6, A 2XL - 1. We did use the table cloth( but we also bought more), our older girls (probably 7th grade and up and adults) used the gloves, we bought smaller ones for the younger girls. We never used any of the rubber bands, as we bought a loose pack of multi size and shape ones for a few bucks and that worked great (these are all bounded together in the box) This would work good for a small party or around 15 people. We really like the instructional color fold out that the girls could use to make their shirts. We left them sit for about 12 hours, they turned out very good. Girls did them pretty much all on their own grades k-11th. We recommend the WET method of soaking in cold water first before dying.

> 3 dayWe had a lot of fun! There was plenty of dye for 11 shirts with some left over. It was nice that the kit included gloves, rubber bands, and a big piece of plastic to protect your work area. Some of the dye bottles leaked but it wasnt that big of a deal.

> 3 dayMy son and I always have fun doing activities like this during the summer time. This kit was perfect! It came with a great variety of colors, a sheet with some design techniques and easy to follow directions. Going to purchase this again to try and do a backpack. Would make a great gift for any family and worth the price!

> 3 dayThese were great! They were used with about 25 children, grades ranging all the way from Pre-K to 5th grade (with some adult assistance for younger kids obviously). We gave them a limit of 2-3 colors per person, so it was just enough for our big group. The kids had so much fun for about 40 minutes. They were able to get creative with their patterns and colors. Some of them bunched up the t-shirt for the pattern, while some kids used a brush to design their t shirt. I printed out instructions for each kid of how to take care of the shirt before their first wear, and put it in a ziplock to take home. They came out great! So easy and so fun. T-shirts are often on sale at AC Moore (about $2 a shirt) so it was a very affordable project with an actually usable keepsake at the end of it!
