> 3 dayI had a white comforter on my bed for years. Over 30 to be exact. But as the years went by, it began to show wear and various stains made it look ratty and old. But, I saw the ad for these dyes and got an idea. I took the comforter outside and spread it out on my lawn on top of a sheet of plastic film. I stood atop a ladder over the comforter and drizzled and squirted the dyes over the comforter and created what appeared to be a Jackson Pollack piece of art. I hung it in the sun to dry, washed it in the machine( it really is bleed resistant) and now, I should receive many more years of enjoying my comforter. What ever your project, have fun!!

> 3 dayWe used this kit for tie-dyeing t-shirts and we were very pleased with the color payoff of the dyes. The colors turned out to be incredibly vibrant and the dyes were easy to use. The kit includes plastic gloves (that are even a bit loose on adult hands, so keep that in mind), sturdy rubber bands, capped squirt bottles with color-coordinated powdered dyes, and a great instruction manual. The manual even gives you step-by-step instructions on how to achieve certain patterns beyond the generic tie-dye swirl pattern. Side note: We used white 100% cotton t-shirts for our project and started with them wet. While our colors were perfectly vibrant, dyeing dry fabrics can get you even more vibrant colors but require more dye.

Greater than one weekThis kit comes with a bunch of colors, gloves, rubber bands and a table cover. We had so much fun with this, and our projects turned out so cool, I have bought this set 5 times and I will keep buying it as often as my kids want to do tie dye. Only thing it doesnt come with are your shirts, or whatever you want to dye. Weve done blankets and pillow cases as well. Our first shirts have been washed a dozen times and are holding their color well! You wont be disappointed!

Greater than one weekI bought some soda ash to help fix this dye,and it worked beautifully. My daughter and I used not even half the kit and dyed 2 toddler shirts and 8 9mo. onesies. Maybe it was 10 onesies (some were long sleeved) anyhow..we still had some dye left over in the 7 bottles we used, could have probably done 2 more items... The thing with this kit is to know how many items you can possibly dye because once you add water to the dye bottles they are only usable for several hours. We had alot of fun with this and I think for as many colors as you get, its a pretty good deal...as we will get a couple other uses out of it still. Ive been trying to think what else we can dye with it. So far the items we dyed have held up bright and awesome even after laundering. We watched a bunch of you tube videos to learn how to tie and apply the dye. I did all the folding/banding and my 3 year old was able to apply the dyes. It was a fun afternoon project for us and the drop cloth is heavy enough that you can use it again.

> 3 dayWow, this set made tie dye as simple and fun as possible - but also produced results that exceeded our expectations! We were all surprised and impressed by the designs that came out. This set comes with 18 squeeze bottles of colored dye powder. Each bottle is marked with a fill-to line, and you just have to add water and shake to turn the powder to dye. The bottles have a narrow nozzle that makes applying the dye easy to control. The colors are a really nice mix and are all super vibrant. Everything you need for the actual tie dye process is included - rubber bands to hold your shirts in place, and table cloths/covers to prevent the dye from getting onto surfaces. Theres a cool little instruction pamphlet with clear instructions on how to achieve different popular tie dye designs (simple swirl, etc.) that helped us get nice results.

> 3 dayBox product comes in is not very sturdy, but it is what I would expect and that is not the problem. Amazon shipped it in an envelope vice a box, and the product box became quite damaged in shipping. Again, not the fault of the manufacturer, but of Amazon. I would expect more from them. And my granddaughter has not used this yet, but it looks of good quality for the price. I think she will enjoy it.

Greater than one weekOrdered this kit to do a craft with my grandkids ages 6 & 7. It came quickly and looked like the photo. Lots of colors to choose from and I liked that the kit included accessories such as plastic gloves and rubber bands. You should definitely use the gloves even when preparing the colors as some of the powder is likely on the outside of the bottles and will definitely stain. We used the kit outside and the directions were easy to follow and included tips for different patterns. My grands loved their tie-dyed shirts.

> 3 dayHaving never tie dyed before I read up on it and was prepared to soak the garments in a water and soda ash mix. So I washed the shirts as instructed: LITTLE soap and NO fabric softener. Keep in mind that fabric softeners COAT the fibers. If the fibers are coated in something then dye will not adhere to the item. This kit was plenty for 4 of us to do 2 shirts apiece. My son did one shirt having been wet and soaked in the soda ash mixture and the other dry and no soda ash of any kind. The results were the SAME! The dyes soaked in quite well, and we are pleased with our shirts. The dye will stain your hands for a few days if you dont wear gloves, but eventually it will wash off. After a few normal washes the shirts still look good and bright.

> 3 dayI have ordered this twice now and the kids keep asking to make more tie dye. Its a great gift and fun project to do at a birthday party. The color selection is great and the colors are very vibrant. I highly recommend it. Kids of all ages enjoyed it...the adults too! It even comes with instructions to do certain patterns. Will be ordering again.
