> 3 dayI have used Turbo Tax for several years and it is an excellent product. They make it so easy for entering your tax data from tax forms and they do the rest of the work through placing it on required tax forms. (However, do not use the download version even though this costs considerably less than the disk. I have seen many complaints about technical problems in downloading the progrqam.) If you will use this product instead of an accountant, you WILL save lots of money which is left for YOU to use!

Greater than one weekI picked this up to do my taxes this year. It is a great product and it really lets you cover all of your bases to make sure you have done everything right. It includes a free efile for federal taxes and comes with free state software, however you have to pay 19.99 to efile your state taxes. I saved a lot of money too by buying it through amazon. I will be buying this again next year!

> 3 dayAt the end of 2006, after years of spending as much as $1200 for a CPA to file our extensive, multi-form taxes, I gave TurboTax a try... side by side with the CPAs results. Not only was I able to gain a much better understanding of my tax calculations, I saved having to pay his outlandish fees in the future. I have been using TurboTax ever since. I will use it, again, next year and the year after and the year after.

> 3 dayI run my own small business and have used TurboTax for some years now. I find it to be quite accurate - a very good tool for individuals and small businesses who prepare their own tax returns. I find that over the years it has become a bit busy with unnecessary screens touting additional services, but I understand the marketing aspect of all this. My one complaint is that I think the product is very overpriced. The profit margins must be incredible. I assume that they price it to come in just under what it would cost to have H&R do a simple return, and that is probably not a fair standard for the consumer even though it makes sense from TurboTaxs point of view.

> 3 dayThis is my first purchase of tax software, Have used professional tax prep for 25 years because of being self employed and not understanding all the necessary forms. My Professional screwed up my 2008 return resulting in several hundred dollars owed in back taxes and penalties. As my business is winding down I did my taxes myself in 2009, so far so good. This year Amazon had the Turbtax version that suited my needs on sale so I tried it. Very easy to use, since I had been filling out an extensive workbook for years for my professional tax preparer gathering my tax data was not any different for the Turbo Tax. Much easier than the manual method ( downloading all the forms, trying to understand the information required) the Turbo Tax walks you through the process. My only complaint was the $19.99 fee to efile the state tax form. This was probably noted somewhere but I missed it until I was ready to file. Well have to see how it all comes out, but it was easy, and hopefully accurate. I will be using it again next year.

> 3 dayJust like the previous edition, this one works great. Love the ability to file multiple schedule Cs. The automatic info fill feature (for migrating info from last year to this year) worked awesome, and saved me a lot of time. E-filing is definitely the way to go. If you want a solid program with a lot of feature and good support, this is the right product for you.

> 3 dayGreat easy product. Lot cheaper than a regular tax preparer and just as easy. You have to get all the paperwork organized for your tax preparer anyway, so this time try this product for a change. It walks you though the entire processes - all the way to efiling or mailing - really easy !
