> 3 dayThis software made tax day much more palatable. I always hate to do taxes but have done them by hand for many years. Im a self employed software consultant, and I just tried this for the first time based on recommendations. It cuts the time and hastle to do complicated taxes to maybe 1/3 of the time it normally takes me. Highly recommended.

> 3 dayWe have used this for many years to do our taxes. It is a huge improvement over trying to negotiate forms without guidance and is a great time saver if you keep your records in digital form. We do not make use of the import from Quicken feature, since our categories are arranged for our budgeting purposes and not by tax form line. My only persistent complaints are the following: 1) Customer service (though improved more recently) is still not quickly available--even for questions about interpreting TurboTax guidance. The program is easy to understand for most usual questions, but some are ambiguous and can prompt one to e.g., enter a value twice unintentionally. 2) accuracy: problems here are extremely rare, but they happen. There was a problem in 2012 or 2013 where the program altered an amount when transferring to the state return (it was a real calculation error). Most errors are due to misinterpretation of the Easy Step guidance questions. This could be averted easily if Intuit would include warnings and clarifications for likely points of confusion. Unfortunately, most problems occur on more obscure forms or less common deductions and credits. If you have a very straight forward, simple tax picture, this program will be wonderful. If not, just keep your antennae up and review all forms before filing!

> 3 dayHave used this product for several years without issue. There may be other tax software out there, but with TurboTax, I know how it is laid out and how it operates. When I upgraded to the iPad, I now use the app version which syncs with the cloud and my desktop. I would recommend this item.

> 3 dayI purchased TurboTax H&B 2010 at Thanksgiving time from Amazon and took a batch of updates right away, but with Congress stalling how correct can it have been? They didnt state their assumptions for this early version anywhere I would notice them. As usual Ohio download wont be ready until early January. This time many federal forms are noted to be ready in early January too. Now that a new federal tax bill has passed, I see TurboTax guessed wrong in allowing of $1000 (joint) real estate tax deduction in addition to the standard deduction. So I have no idea how valid the program results are as of late December and have had to resort to paying as much state and federal tax by withholding as were my total taxes last year. Im sure it will become its usual very good product in a month or so, but I wish they would make it pop up a better list of things that have yet to be incorporated.

Greater than one weekI used TaxACT (TA) first for a tax assignment and then used TurboTax (TT) to compare and contrast - about 2 months ago. Back then, TT seemed a little bit more user-friendly than TA. I recall the language of TT was simpler, and the interface was nicer and simpler than TA. Overall, the impression I left with was that TT was simpler to use than TA.

> 3 dayI have been using Turbo Tax Home & Business for several years and have always been happy with it. I had it transfer the information from 2009, which saves some time, then I quickly progressed through Federal & State, since I had already gathered all my information before starting. Then I e-filed both. The only additional charge was $19.95 on my credit card for e-filing the State. I dont itemize, so I dont expect any problems from the new tax laws that are just now being made available to tax preparers.

01-06-2025Got an IRS extension, Turbo Tax nowhere to be found in retail locations even though I needed it fast. Got it faster than promised in about 2 days with regular shipping at about 33% lower price than the $99.95 at the stores even including the shipping charge! Thanks.

> 3 dayThe seller shipped fast and it is what I ordered. I have used this product last year and it was fine. This year TurboTax seemed to change their questions and layout a little, parts of the product were hard to figure out for sale of investment property. Other than that the product was fine.

> 3 dayWhy have I been paying for a tax accountant all these years? Mine retired this year, and I had to find a new one. I decided it was finally time to try Turbo Tax. Wow, this is SO easy! If I want put the numbers in at midnight, I can, and I know I wont be getting a bunch of followup questions about what I bought and lord knows what else. Now, I now understand all the questions he used to ask. For years I was afraid to do my own taxes because I didnt understand depreciation. With this, you dont have to know anything, just fill in the blanks. Its GREAT! I cant wait till next year when all the entries from this year pop up automatically. :o)
