> 3 dayI am a last minute tax preparer - and I am both self employed and have a regular job, so the number of forms, etc... can get ridiculous. So my moto has been never do today what you can put off until tomorrow when it comes to the IRS and taxes. This year Tax time seemed to rush up on me. I looked at all my receipts, records, etc... and it was all too much. So on impulse I decided to try Turbo Tax. It was quick, easy to use, found deductions I had never even heard of (imagine how much I have been over paying - wince!), and wonderfully cheaper to purchase at amazon. And wala!!! I was done 2 days early! Better and cheaper than some tax preparer companies I have been to even. Loved It - will be using Turbo Tax all the time from now on. I recommend you try it as well. R Walker

Greater than one weekTurboTax makes a very complicated process easy. It takes you through entering tax data step by step in a simplified manner, and provides tips and advice each step along the way. Then it calculated your tax, choosing the right forms and making decisions about the best way to complete the forms, when there is more than one way to do so. I recommend Turbo Tax for simple to moderately complex returns. (I think you will be money ahead to have highly complex returns reviewed by a professional - no $79 computer program is going to outwit a trained professional.) One word of caution - the TurboTax front cover says Includes Federal and State Taxes. What it means is that TurboTax fills out the state forms. There is a substantial extra charge (about $40) for efiling the state form (Federal efiling is free). Of course, you can always send in the state return by regular US mail.

> 3 dayGreat easy product. Lot cheaper than a regular tax preparer and just as easy. You have to get all the paperwork organized for your tax preparer anyway, so this time try this product for a change. It walks you though the entire processes - all the way to efiling or mailing - really easy !

> 3 dayHave used this product for several years without issue. There may be other tax software out there, but with TurboTax, I know how it is laid out and how it operates. When I upgraded to the iPad, I now use the app version which syncs with the cloud and my desktop. I would recommend this item.

> 3 dayI was not happy with my purchase. The process is confusing and too long. Used TurboTax last year and worked easily; this years product was much different. No help on the help line either. I accidently typed a number in the wrong place and could not remove it by any means. Wont use this brand next year! Also Amazon did not disclose that you had to pay an additional amount for efiling of state taxes. That should have been on the label along with Federal & Efile & State. The additional $19.95 to efile for state should have been in the advertisement. Am disappointed with Amazon.

> 3 dayOk my friend told me I needed to crack open the wallet and buy this program,you wont be dissapointed, he said. Im self employed, nothing big I do coaching and training soccer as a source of income while I go back to school, so I needed the buisness side of this program. It was easy and simple, a lot of help for those things I was unsure about. It walked me through the entire return, Schedules SE, C, and profit and loss form from the total of my car that I used for work. I can not say I would not have found all the deductions it did, but I will say my tax return was significantly larger than in the previous years that I did it by hand. Im buying my firned a nice lunch.

> 3 dayWe have prepared our own taxes for over 3 decades - and ours is far from a simple return, having had numerous rental houses / depreciation schedules / small businesses etc..... Turbo Tax is easy to use and this seller offered it at a significant discount - VERY HAPPY CAMPER here!

06-06-2025I find TurboTax Home & Business to be very easy to use. However I did not find a way to have my complete return reviewed. That would be nice to have an expert look over the whole thing.

02-06-2025The turbo-tax arrived fast! I was pleased with the NEW turbo-tax 2010. I had NO problems with it and everything worked, as turbo-tax states. I filed 30 minutes, by e-file, before it would have been too late to send by e-file, and Turbo-Tax got it there with minutes to spare! Very Happy with the Turbo-Tax Home and Business 2010 edition.

> 3 dayFor many years we used a CPA to prepare our tax returns. A few years ago, one of them was audited by the IRS. While it totally passed muster, as I knew it would, it cost us $2,000 for the CPA to represent us. Nonsense, I said. Im an excellent record keeper, Ill admit. So I figured if the TurboTax was user friendly, I would be home free. And on top of that, for an extra 50 bucks or so, TurboTax will represet you in an IRS audit. Perfect. So for the last four years, Ive used TurboTax. Its easy enough if you take your time and you pay attention to each question it asks you.
