Well built and east to use

I already had unifi video running on a local server with a g3 bullet camera. While I like the software, it is worth noting that it has been discontinued by the manufacturer in favor of the cloud version. I cannot speak to how well the cloud software works, but the original software works very well for me. I believe with the cloud version you need to buy additional hardware to connect the cameras. The price is not bad for this camera, and it has a good daytime and acceptable night image. I would say that the older g3 bullet is superior, but also costs more. If I did not already have a working system I would probably have looked at other options... the g4 versions are also available with more advanced motion detection, but I do not have experience with those.

I have a Ubiquiti Unify system and this is a great addition. Good quality picture and flexibility of installation and use. Particularly appreciated with Ubiquiti is that although their NVR system is closed to only Ubiquiti cameras they make available a selectable quality RTSP stream for use by other software. I use ManyCam as well and it works great. Only wish is for an SD card recording option for buffering video for those times that connectivity is lost.

For those serious about home surveillance & savvy enough to setup their own NVR server, this is by far the best option on the market right now. Night vision IR is fantastic. Extremely easy to setup on-site or off-site. They look extremely professional and sleek and intimidating to unwanted visitors. Reliable NVR software, too. Buy them or the more expensive UniFi products. Theres really no reason to go with anything else. 10/10.

Works great

I have a g3 dome, a g3 pro, g4 bullet. The g3 pro is the most expensive camera we have. Its excellent. The g4 steps it up with a little faster connection but no zoom. But honestly you never use the zoom all that often - the cameras pointing the wrong way - somethings wrong. Zoom isnt that useful. This little G3flex. Is as good at the g3 dome. Its even better. The build quality feels like a nice new iPhone when you pick it up - I envisioned the g3flex to be plastic and junky feel. No. Its awesome. You want this.get it.

Good bang for the buck, great for semi portable use (wherever you can run a ethernet cable to). Sits nicely on a desk if you dont want to perma mount it. The top cab be pointed up down left right. Does not include a PoE adapter, requires 802af poe. Lots of mounting options included.

Lastest about 6 months and died Would not recommend

The UniFi Protect software and CloudKey Gen 2+ NVR make this great. The app is quick, responsive & intuitive. You could probably find a camera as capable and maybe even with better picture quality but its nice to have NVR software and an App that provided and maintained by the manufacturer.

Much smaller than expected. It is a good addition to your UniFi camera system or as a standalone camera. Has good quality picture with audio and a lot of mounting options.
