> 3 dayEpic fail. Average Joe will have some trouble downloading software and getting set up. All reviews and videos I saw said a normal size house would only need one. I have great WiFi in same areas as with my ISP router, but still weak signal in farthest rooms. Adversities 400ft, won’t even reach 30 feet with interior walls. I won’t purchase anymore ubiquiti products.

> 3 dayUnfortunately for concrete walls(or concrete block) we have significant signal attenuation. I guess the lite version is not suited for concrete houses/walls

Greater than one weekI do Internet Protocol analysis and testing for a large networking vendor. I read RFCs and do the IETF dance. I touch a lot, ... a *lot* of gear, as Im on the team that tests the products for protocol compliance. Mostly at home I want a simple experience, something I can setup and abandon. I can see how for someone with no networking knowledge, implementing this could be a chore. The idea of needing a controller to program it seems weird, but ... it doesnt seem weird when you need to control thousands of these. Granted I have just one, most people at home will have just one, but its clearly designed for much bigger networks. The first thing which is a huge tremendous deal is how easy it is to get the controller going. I ran some software, no license keys, trial periods, etc, and it just discovered the AP. I put in my password for the SSID ... I was basically finished. This AP is sensitive. It sees networks I didnt know existed. I was using a WRT1200AC before and ... this thing is lightyears faster. Ive never seen a download over 100Mbps on a wireless connection but ... this thing easily pushes 150Mbps to my VR setup. My Alexa devices used to experience occasional burps, my smart thermostat, my streaming devices. I havent seen a burp yet and its been weeks. At another company I used to deploy these, I had a bad experience pulling a dead unit (it melted) from a ceiling, but this time around I was seriously considering going with Google Wifi until I read it does NAT. Seriously Google? I figured for $80, why not? Would recommend without reservations, this thing is amazing.

> 3 dayI work for a school district technology department and we just replaced 35 of our Cisco Aironets with these. I am continually impressed with Ubiquiti products. The cost:value is fantastic.
