> 3 dayDisappointed for a Ubiquiti product. It frequently locks up and needs to be rebooted. Range isn’t as good as I would have expected either. In a number of tests it wasn’t any better than our ISP provided AP. The Windows client install is cumbersome and unfortunately required, because the mobile app does not have all features available.

> 3 dayThis is my first Ubiquiti product and I believe its safe to say that it wont be my last. If you have dead spots in your house then this is the product for you. Great AP with great WLAN speeds. Pros: Its small light weight easy to install. Great AP with awesome speeds. Cons: The controller software can be a pain to use. However once its installed and set up its great with lots of features.

> 3 dayIm disappointed that two UAP-AC-LITE I received were not the newest version that supports 802.3af. I can still use them however and the product is solid.

> 3 dayThis is my second UniFi AP, they can be on the same ESSID which allows users to roam. Download the latest software from their website first.

> 3 dayThese WAPs arent bad if youre already running a slower Internet connection but if youre trying to get faster throughput closer to gig speeds, I wouldnt bother. I hear the pro version will accomplish what I need but at that price point I decided to keep my 4 x eeros for now. I typically get around 300-400mbs down and a little faster on the upstream utilizing eero (dual band version, not the pro Tri-band) and when I installed these I was Seeing speeds around 200-250 TOPS. I would suggest looking at the pro version over the lite and the one that is dedicated to covering long distances unless of course you need the extra coverage or have a slower internet connection. To conclude Im running edge router x with att gig fiber and I have dns properly configured along with qos turned off, Cat5e for all of my switches hanging off of the edge router aside from my cameras which utilize outdoor rated cat6 from my switches (I know its counter intuitive but I got a good deal for the outdoor rated cat6).
