> 3 dayOk so I got this so I could control my NVidia Shield and my PC via shared keyboard and mouse. So the problem is that even when I have physically switched it to the PC (and the keyboard and mice are working) seconds later it will switch to the Shield. Ive tried switching cables but it still favors the Shield. Other funny thing is the physical switch takes a firm press and sometimes a couple of tries. Hey everyone, (update 7/25/18) The company reached out to me, Kelsey. She suggested I try switching USB ports and that seems to have done the trick. Now, it only takes one press of the button and it stays on the PC unlike before. Crazy-simple stuff sometimes. Im glad I kept it and the company seems to be rock solid by reaching out and being proactive to resolve issues. Thanks bunch!!!

Greater than one weeklove this thing. I used to plug and unplug keyboard and mouse between my two laptops. Now its just a simply click on it. Takes a second or two to make the switch. BTW, this is a good name brand in China, not those trashy random brands.

> 3 dayAs I said in the title, its an easy and no frills device. As an engineer, if I was to design it, I would have installed the LED indicator light where the pushbuttons are, but the device is so easy to use, no complaints! Buy one..!

> 3 dayI bought this so I could use my keyboard and mouse to control my raspberry pi and it worked. The only concern I had was how it passes power to the keyboard and mouse. It almost seems as if all the 5v rails were all connected. IE: if one of the hosts was plugged in but the raspberry pi was not I would see a red light on the raspberry pi as if it was being powered from the splitter/other host connected. This can be dangerous to your devices so be careful.

Greater than one weekIncredibly simple device to setup. All cables in the box. x2 USB -A > B connections= These will connect to the input port of the computers/laptops. Then its just a matter of placing the main component on the central port - rather that be a keyboard/mouse etc. - The switch has a real nice click, and doesnt seem to give at all which is great as Im using it for a single keyboard/dual computer setup. Im hitting this thing multiple times an hour. Nice little rubber feet to keep it steady, though I recommend throwing some velcro/tape on there. My favorite feature I didnt see at first, which is perfect for a device like this: It has two tiny blue LEDs right by each of the respective cables. Just faint enough to inform which port is active, but not blinding like some products like this can get to. A great little touch.

> 3 dayI use it for the use for which it was created, that is, using one printer for multiple computers (in my case, 2). Three plugs. One to the printer, one each to my two computers. There is even a tiny signal light to tell one which computer is using it at the time. Great item!

> 3 daySeveral years ago my desktop computer died. I didnt replace it, I just used my laptop for every thing. I recently bought a new desktop computer, but I didnt want to install an accounting program on the desktop. It was a pain to constantly move my printer cable between devices. I am older and not comfortable installing tech things. I knew there had to be something out there to solve this problem but I didnt know it was. A search on Amazon lead me to this switch box. I ordered it, but was concerned I might have trouble setting it up correctly. It was so easy to set up I didnt even need to look at any directions. I plugged my printer cable into the switch box and then plugged the two cables that came with the box into the box and then plugged a cable into a USB port on each computer. Problem solved!

Greater than one weekI use this to toggle my webcam between my work laptop and my home PC. When I would manually swap using the camera USB I sometimes needed to restart Zoom in order for it to recognize the new peripheral. Not sure what changed but when I use this to switch it pops right up in the choice list while the software is running. Great device and very good price. Thanks!

> 3 dayI have a printer that is on a network, but we have two computers, not connected to the same network that need to print to it too. This was an easy answer, just plug in the two computers to the device (from the USB A Port to the USB B Port (cables included) and then plug in the USB B Port to the printers USB A Port (not included, since you probably already have one) on the other side.
