I bought this monitor to compliment my Surface Pro 6 and/or Razer Blade 15 that I use for factory automation programming while traveling. Its very light, surprisingly thin (like modern cell phone thin), and includes all of the necessary cables to get it running. The image quality is outstanding! I have a few decent (but not high-end) monitors I use for office work. This portable monitor blew them all out of the water. Excellent color, sharpness, response, etc.. Absolutely impressive for the price-point from a brand that isnt very well known. Unfortunately it will not work for my needs. I need a portable monitor that works with whatever equipment I brought with me. This one didnt cut it. In every scenario I tried, I had to use an external power source along with a video source cable. I tried it with my Surface Dock 2, and it refused to power up from a single USB C, and also when adding an additional USB C from the docks power ports(which are rated for 15W). I NEEDED to power it from the supplied power brick. I tried again using my Razer Blade 15 Advanced. Same issue. It wouldnt work using the USB C alone, or adding power from another USB port. It HAD to be from the power brick. Im sometimes in an area where 110v outlet space is sparse, so this wont work for me. On the other hand, I purchased a Viewsonic VG1655 at the same time to test, and it works great with a single usb C to my Surface Dock 2 or my laptop. I bought these to replace an ASUS MB169+ that is sometimes hit-or-miss with reliability, but even that one powered on fine through a USB 3.0 port. I really wish this worked out, because the image quality is OUTSTANDING.

I am reviewing this device as a tool for photography only. I have been using this as an external monitor for my on location shoot for the past 2 years. Positive: sleek and lightweight design. Easier to carry than a same size laptop. That is one reason to use this to replace laptop for tethering. Relative bright compare to regular computer monitor. Rich color and great image quality from every view angle. Actually my photo looks better on this screen than on my camera screen. Which is good give client good impression about my photo. Can be powered by power bank. I have one rated as 30000mah that can easily power it for a whole day shoot (8-10 hours). Longevity is good. Used it many many times through the past 2 years. Took it everywhere abuse it quite a lot. It still works fine. So I think if you only use it at home it can last forever. Great vaule for what it is and how I use it. Negative: The mini hdmi port is not ideal for the type of works I use it for. I constanly need to plug in and out of the cable. As a result it starts to lose signal. I did find a solution to work around it. I bought an mini hdmi to hdmi adpater. and never lose signal again on set while doing photoshoot. I think this device is not meant to be used for this kind of purpose. So just something to pay attention if you have same usage as mine. The color temperature right out of the box is pretty poor. The preset inside looks off. Good thing is that you can adjust the RGB level to your reference. At the end I am able to get close enough that it is no longer an issue for my usage. But if you only use it for movie and game, I think you will never notice this issue. Overall it did a good job which is to replace a laptop for tethering on shoot. And for that purpose I recommend this device.

First off, the box came with 3 cables and power adapter. Screen looks nice and I love the small bezels. There is also a built in kick stand. So I like to play my Switch on the go with my friends but I find that 15.6 portable monitors are not just enough. So I bought this with hopes playing on a bigger screen. And it works. I used a bigger power bank and I was able to play my Switch. A word of caution. This by no means is 100% safe for the Switch and you run the risk of bricking your Switch. Overall a solid product. Just wished a case was included for such a nice screen.

This is a great monitor/display. It has 500 nit brightness which is substantially higher them most lightweight, thin, portable monitors on the market (most are ~300 nits). The bright display makes a huge difference in color vibrancy and ease of viewing. I also tried the Lepow monitor and this one was substantially better. It had better color accuracy & color range them most the other lower cost monitors available. It comes with everything you need to get going. That includes three cables (USB-C to USB-C, USB-A to USB-C & HDMI to HDMI Mini). So far I have used it with my iPhone, iPad & Nintendo Switch and it has worked flawlessly. Customer support has been quick to respond to any inquires I had. The only issue I had was the warranty card was missing from the box so I had to find out through UPERFECT, 30 Money Back, 90 Day replacement & 18 months repair (US repair location). That is important information that UPERFECT should include in their description, but was provided to me through email.

I wont repeat what the other reviews all say about the quality of the display, other than to say that I was astonished at how bright and saturated the colors are. I had to turn down the brightness to below 50%. I bought this for a specific purpose: a SiriusXM player to stream to my home AVR system, that didnt require me to leave my large TV on all the time. The components: 1: this display with its built-in stand or a sturdier metal stand 2: a spare Amazon Fire TV or TV Stick 3: a HDMI coupler to connect together two male cable ends: amazon.com/gp/product/B086W75W8W 4: a HDMI splitter/converter to extract SPDIF audio The display itself comes with all necessary cables: 1: a USB-C to USB-A cable to connect the display to the included power supply (wall wart) 2: a HDMI to mini-HDMI cable to connect the display to an HDMI output device (Fire TV in this case, could also be used with a Google Chromecast, Roku, etc.) 3: a USB-C to USB-C cable, not used in this installation Connecting it together creates a 15 display of the Fire TV user interface. You can certainly use this anywhere you want to watch Fire TV content on a portable display (e.g. traveling) or as an audio feed, as in my case. The display does not go into a power-saving suspend mode when not in use, so its backlight can still be seen. Im going to connect it to a smart plug to solve that. My only gripe is that their included tiny instruction guide is very poorly written and incomplete. It doesnt explain the quirky little push button and dial controls, which you just have to fiddle with to learn how they work. That wasnt a show stopper, and its typical for Chinese generic consumer electronics products sold here without sufficient English language tech writing skills. In conclusion, this display far exceeded my expectations, and I wouldnt hesitate to recommend it.

Ive been using portable extended monitors for years ... I do a lot of work with spreadsheets and so I have a large screen laptop. Ive always been a little frustrated that my laptop screen and previous extended monitor screens werent the same size (even though theyre the same resolution, it was never the same). Enter the UPERFECT 17 monitor. I was hesitant because I wasnt familiar with the brand name, but I saw enough good reviews that I felt comfortable with making the purchase... Very glad I did! The monitor came with a variety of cords and adapters to connect to different laptop inputs, and I love the black protective case that also came with the screen. The best part for me is the builtin kickstand, Ive previsouly used monitors where the case unfolds then refolds into a stand, and this can get tight in a limited work space... the UPERFECT kickstand is brilliant! Very glad I made the purchase, been using for over a week every day and have had no problems. Im slightly disappointed that, in order for the screen to be at full brightness, you have to not only connect the monitor to the laptop, but also plug it into an outlet. If you just plug the monitor into the laptop, the visibility is still pretty good, but I love a bright screen ... I guess thats the price to pay for a bright 17 extended monitor... Ill pay it every time :)

I ordered this screen for use in a seminar I was attending out of state. I didnt want to carry multiple computers through the airport. This screen is very light weight and very thin. I measured the thickness. It is the thickness of 2 quarters. It fit perfectly inside my computer bag with my computer also in there. I did put a piece of foam board between them, and another foam board on the outside of this screen. Still they both fit inside my bag. Set up was easy. It came with three types of cords. I only traveled with the one that fit to my computer. I usually cant figure out anything techy, but this was a piece of cake! The screen was large enough to see what I needed to see easily and clearly. I definitely recommend this!

Excellent screen extension. It is not only 18.5 inch size that is good but the quality and the thickness really thin and light to carry anywhere.. thank you

This screen provides the two most important factors, versatility and quality. The monitor is plug and play no additional reconfiguration, just plug and start working all day long. Excellent choice

Ive owned this monitor for about a year and use it for: work as an extended display, a photo editing monitor when using my home desktop, and as movie monitor when watching media on my phone. And I have loved having this QLED monitor thats easy to swap between devices and carry around. So why the 3 stars? Ill group my bullet points below into fixable with user-solution and unfixable gripes. User Error / Fixable - Device not showing video - Often this is caused by insufficient power to the display. Plug in a second cable directly as a power cable into the monitor. - Device still not showing video - Try restarting the source device. With this plugged into my desktop graphics card as a second monitor I often needed to restart my computer for this monitor to be recognized. - Device STILL not showing video - So this is a weird one. Plug in a dedicated power cable to the monitor and a device that provides power and video (for me this was my android phone). Something that would show video and power the monitor by itself 100% of the time. When monitor starts up (displays an image), unplug the phone. You should now see a blue screen saying there is no input source. Plug in the actual input source you want to see video from. This is a solution I concocted trying to see video from my non-work laptop. Unfixable - A contrast setting above 5 crushes colors together. For most standard (non-HDR) purposes you should keep the contrast at 5 or below. While browsing internet pages you may notice certain UI elements like divider bars, nav bars, and text boxes literally disappear. For movies and photo editing it just looks awful. - The default contrast is 6, and will always reset to 6 after the monitor is unplugged / powered down. - HDR is a b****. I got nothing on this one. I spent literal days trying to figure out all the quirks of the HDR settings of windows and this monitor. Maybe if you have a direct HDR source like a phone it looks great but I always found HDR to look like complete garbage and the built in ULTRA-HDR mode made things even worse. Massive color crushing. - Most of the color effects other than standard and photo are exceptionally bad for color. - The built-in speakers are awful. - God help you if you want to change input sources when the desired input is not being detected. The monitor will put itself to sleep and the menu button becomes non-functional. So you can only change the input when you have an input. Naturally the input source is reset when the monitor is powered off so you play this game with the thing every time for certain inputs. Finally Ill mention what I like because really this thing is still an exceptional value display panel. All the awfulness is in the software. - With higher than 300 nit brightness and and a QLED screen. This monitor is still the best display in the house thats not my phone. Despite the quirks its a joy most of the time. - Its super lightweight. Adding this to my travel bag is never a problem. - 2 USB-C ports that both support video and power is fantastic. - Once you figure out the quirks I find myself using it every day.
