> 24 hourThis seems to be the only portable screen on the market with a bit higher brightness, which is great. The downside is that the colours are not very good and the HDMI port, which is supposed to work with an external power source connected to the USBc, doesnt seem to function at all. ---------------- UPDATE: the colours seem to have improved by a lot after the people from UPERFECT helped me change the colour settings on the screen. They also sent me a replacement cable to see if that could resolve the issue with the HDMI. Unfortunately, that didnt resolve the issue, but UPERFECT immediately offered to replace the monitor or give a partial refund, so that solved the problem for me. They had great customer service, responded quickly and helped to solve all the problems that I had.

> 24 hourGood evening to all I hope this finds everyone in good health and even better spirits. Im compelled to attempt to write a quick but informative review of my recent purchases of external monitors from UPERFECT. I am more of an enthusiast than I am an expert But quality is quality ! I have built and or assembled various work stations at home, having said that I have found external monitors to be an invaluable tool for learning and being productive. The problem is getting the correct one to fit most needs without having ever attempted a task as this before. More fails than success. Thus this review, I have purchased 8 external monitors in total before achieving the perfect set up. So i feel somewhat qualified as a judge of quality....Getting to the point, my last 2 monitors were from Uperfect 500 nits display and I couldnt be happier. They are pictured in the 5 monitor picture i uploaded The display is brighter, the image is crisper and more vivid, the controls are more accurate and the build quality is better. The other pictures I attempted to present are monitors that were not just quit right . Avg at best . But my Uperfect monitors most definitely have a wow factor to them. I sincerely hopes this might help someone. Id say give them a look first and then go from there. Be well -and have a great day

> 24 hourI like this monitor, it works perfectly in portrait view next to my main LG 38GN850 ultrawide for my purposes. Luckily, one of those purposes is not design work, because despite the advertised 100% sRGB coverage, in my testing it achieves 65%. Maybe I have a dud, but Ive tried every setting available and cannot replicate that claim. That said, I love the VESA mounting holes, input options, features, size and resolution, so for me, its great.

> 24 hourGot this to help me while I went home to see family in the middle of a difficult time, but still needed to work. I have 2 monitors at home, 3 if you count the laptop screen. So while travelling I wanted something, thin, light, bright, powered by USB-C, supported DisplayPort over USB-C, and didnt have a battery built in. After weeks of use in the real world, I accomplished all of my productivity goals and am very happy with the purchase. I didnt want a built-in battery because I knew there would be long periods of time when it would fully charged and sit there with no use, simultaneously that when I used it, it was going to be connected to a USB power source, so it just didnt make a lot of sense. In the end I wouldnt have used it on its battery much, and I would end up with a dead battery / battery that wont charge, and possibly a monitor that wouldnt work once that happened. With this display, I dont have that problem or those concerns. Its simply .. a monitor. I dont think Id give it any special points for amazing color accuracy or unparalleled image. What it does do is a fantastic job with productivity workloads, casual youtube or netflix, and as a monitor for when Im working on retro electronics projects. Images are bright, not too overly saturated, crisp, clear. It works about as well as the average IPS LCD would be expected to. The sound isnt great, tiny speakers, tinny. Your laptop speakers are probably better. Every pair of headphones on the market is probably better. But it works in a pinch. My only real disappointment with it, is it has some power related issues. The monitor doesnt seem to remember settings between each power on. If I turned brightness down, powered it off, then powered it on again, its back to full. If I changed the color down a setting or two (its slightly too vivid for me), its back to vivid when it powers back on. Ive noticed the monitor doesnt like when a laptop goes to sleep, then wakes up. Especially if the USB-C port is an always on USB port, delivering power while the computer is off. The monitor will look like its powered on with its LED lit, but wont display anything again until its unplugged, then plugged back in. Overall, Im happy with it. Got it while it was on a discount. Cant complain much, it has been an overall good experience. I hope it outlives my next few laptops.

> 24 hourI got this monitor back in Apr 2022. I wanted something I could use traveling/outdoors/etc and this monitor has been wonderful. The brightness is really good for using outdoors. But about a week ago the screen started to have some issues and I reached out to customer service. They were amazing! Asked me for a few photos of the issue and got me a new monitor shipped out ASAP. But what was even better - they actually followed up on the scheduled delivery date of the monitor to ensure I got it and it solved my issue. I have never had a company do that before! Best customer service I have ever had to work with!

> 24 hourI ordered the monitor for using it outdoor, because my laptop screen seemed too dim when I tried to use it in my backyard. The monitor did indeed perform well outside in the shade, and i found myself placing it over the laptop screen so that I see the content rather than using as a second monitor. As it sometimes happens with high tech, after a while, the monitor starting having some issues. Amazon support put me in contact with the vendors customer support and they sent a replacement. The replacement monitor works fine now. Customer service was very helpful, hence the 5 star review. Hope they keep it that way.

> 24 hourThe picture quality of this portable monitor has me blown away. The brightness is fantastic. Its extremely thin. The only negative I would say is the case/stand is fairly flimsy and the magnet isnt the strongest. Ill probably get a separate case to keep it in when tossing it in a bag. Other than that though, I am extremely happy with the quality of it, even the sound is great. Well see how it holds up over time, but the build quality seems solid. I bought this as a portable switch screen to use with a genki covert dock and to sometimes use as a 4th monitor with my desktop. So far, I have no complaints on the quality.

> 24 hourThe screen shows great quality and promise. Be careful not to move it around much as there might be issues with the monitor if transported improperly. Would buy again for the price and customer support alone.

> 24 hourI got this monitor to game on the go with my xbox series s and for travel for work. The xbox settings show that this monitor is not 4K, so I was disappointed with that. The monitor is more clear and has a better quality than the 1080p monitors but I can’t say this is actually a 4K monitor. I do like that the monitor comes with many different types of cables and can suit your needs right out of the box. Its thin and light and I also purchased a 17.3 in laptop case to keep it in for travel. Even with the monitor in the case it it still fits in my backpack so its very travel friendly. My only gripe is that I wish it actually achieved 4K like advertised but its still a good gaming experience on the go.

> 24 hourIve owned this monitor for about a year and use it for: work as an extended display, a photo editing monitor when using my home desktop, and as movie monitor when watching media on my phone. And I have loved having this QLED monitor thats easy to swap between devices and carry around. So why the 3 stars? Ill group my bullet points below into fixable with user-solution and unfixable gripes. User Error / Fixable - Device not showing video - Often this is caused by insufficient power to the display. Plug in a second cable directly as a power cable into the monitor. - Device still not showing video - Try restarting the source device. With this plugged into my desktop graphics card as a second monitor I often needed to restart my computer for this monitor to be recognized. - Device STILL not showing video - So this is a weird one. Plug in a dedicated power cable to the monitor and a device that provides power and video (for me this was my android phone). Something that would show video and power the monitor by itself 100% of the time. When monitor starts up (displays an image), unplug the phone. You should now see a blue screen saying there is no input source. Plug in the actual input source you want to see video from. This is a solution I concocted trying to see video from my non-work laptop. Unfixable - A contrast setting above 5 crushes colors together. For most standard (non-HDR) purposes you should keep the contrast at 5 or below. While browsing internet pages you may notice certain UI elements like divider bars, nav bars, and text boxes literally disappear. For movies and photo editing it just looks awful. - The default contrast is 6, and will always reset to 6 after the monitor is unplugged / powered down. - HDR is a b****. I got nothing on this one. I spent literal days trying to figure out all the quirks of the HDR settings of windows and this monitor. Maybe if you have a direct HDR source like a phone it looks great but I always found HDR to look like complete garbage and the built in ULTRA-HDR mode made things even worse. Massive color crushing. - Most of the color effects other than standard and photo are exceptionally bad for color. - The built-in speakers are awful. - God help you if you want to change input sources when the desired input is not being detected. The monitor will put itself to sleep and the menu button becomes non-functional. So you can only change the input when you have an input. Naturally the input source is reset when the monitor is powered off so you play this game with the thing every time for certain inputs. Finally Ill mention what I like because really this thing is still an exceptional value display panel. All the awfulness is in the software. - With higher than 300 nit brightness and and a QLED screen. This monitor is still the best display in the house thats not my phone. Despite the quirks its a joy most of the time. - Its super lightweight. Adding this to my travel bag is never a problem. - 2 USB-C ports that both support video and power is fantastic. - Once you figure out the quirks I find myself using it every day.
