This works great. Will actually work with just a USB-C connector on one of my laptops. Screen gets brighter if you add the USB power connection. I wish the ports were not on the very edge. Would be nice if the cables didnt need to stick out the side in full view. Bought and used U shaped adapters, but they interfere somewhat with the kickstand, making it tilt more than I would prefer. Have not tried the touch screen properties.

The colors and clarity on the monitor are really great, especially for being portable. The lighting is even with no hotspots and its very thin with only a slightly wider body near the bottom to accommodate the electronic components that run the monitor. The monitor comes with a 2 year manufacturer warranty. Additionally, absolutely excellent customer service. I had this monitor for a year and it started experiencing problems. I contacted UPERFECT with pictures and video of my issue and they were quick to send me a brand new replacement and provide return shipping for the defective one.

I like this monitor, it works perfectly in portrait view next to my main LG 38GN850 ultrawide for my purposes. Luckily, one of those purposes is not design work, because despite the advertised 100% sRGB coverage, in my testing it achieves 65%. Maybe I have a dud, but Ive tried every setting available and cannot replicate that claim. That said, I love the VESA mounting holes, input options, features, size and resolution, so for me, its great.

I really want to love this monitor. Its light, its very stable and compact. Screen is big 17.3. Plenty of cables provided and ways to connect. BUT... The picture is Terrible. Its so washed out. For one of the more expensive monitors in its class on the market, Low $300s instead of $250s, Im very disappointed. Im no expert but I tried every setting and I could not improve the color and contrast. This is going back and Im gonna take my shot at a cheaper one, unfortunately. However, I must mention that their customer support and service is fantastic.

Had purchased this screen at the end of July this year, and have setup here on a nice stand I got off Amazon. Everything was working fine until I woke up this morning and turned on my computer. Now the screen has awful horizontal white lines going across the screen. I know its not a graphics card issue, as when I shut off the computer before the monitor, the lines remain on the screen as it goes into power saving mode. Update: I just received a replacement for the defective screen! Uperfect support is great and was on it right away!!! This is why I chose Uperfect as I read in previous reviews they take care of their customers! And its true! Thank you! I just put in a support request to U Perfect for a replacement. And hoping they will rectify this situation soon. As I need this for work. Will update this review later depending on how things go!

Im honestly impressed by this monitors quality. For less than $200 it beats much more expensive and fancier portable monitors out there. Pairs well with my Macbook (no software required). If you need a cheap quality portable monitor, this is it!

I wont repeat what the other reviews all say about the quality of the display, other than to say that I was astonished at how bright and saturated the colors are. I had to turn down the brightness to below 50%. I bought this for a specific purpose: a SiriusXM player to stream to my home AVR system, that didnt require me to leave my large TV on all the time. The components: 1: this display with its built-in stand or a sturdier metal stand 2: a spare Amazon Fire TV or TV Stick 3: a HDMI coupler to connect together two male cable ends: amazon.com/gp/product/B086W75W8W 4: a HDMI splitter/converter to extract SPDIF audio The display itself comes with all necessary cables: 1: a USB-C to USB-A cable to connect the display to the included power supply (wall wart) 2: a HDMI to mini-HDMI cable to connect the display to an HDMI output device (Fire TV in this case, could also be used with a Google Chromecast, Roku, etc.) 3: a USB-C to USB-C cable, not used in this installation Connecting it together creates a 15 display of the Fire TV user interface. You can certainly use this anywhere you want to watch Fire TV content on a portable display (e.g. traveling) or as an audio feed, as in my case. The display does not go into a power-saving suspend mode when not in use, so its backlight can still be seen. Im going to connect it to a smart plug to solve that. My only gripe is that their included tiny instruction guide is very poorly written and incomplete. It doesnt explain the quirky little push button and dial controls, which you just have to fiddle with to learn how they work. That wasnt a show stopper, and its typical for Chinese generic consumer electronics products sold here without sufficient English language tech writing skills. In conclusion, this display far exceeded my expectations, and I wouldnt hesitate to recommend it.

I love the ease of having a portable monitor for work. It is a great size and the clarity of the images on screen is amazing!

I am using this monitor with an Apple Mini M1. I compared it to a couple other UPerfect monitors: A more expensive 4k and a 1080p, all 15.6 inch. This QLED 500nit monitor significantly outperformed the others. It is significantly brighter and the colors are much more accurate. One other key aspect when using the monitor on the new Apple silicon machines, is the display resolutions Apple allows are limited and does not offer HiDPI/Retina mode out of the box. I was able to use third-party open-source display software from BetterDummy (free) to add custom resolutions and HiDPI which on this QLED monitor made the text really sharp. I was also able to generate higher/4k resolutions as well, even though on a 15.6 inch monitor text is too small. I had trouble on anther UPerfect 4k monitor getting HiDPI to wrk. The one aspect of this monitor that could be improved is the stand. It uses the foldable cover as a stand. It works, but not as well as monitors that use a folding base, or kickstand, for the stand. Kickstands allow much greater adjustment to the monitor angle and take up less space on the desktop. Overall, a very good performer and value.
