Am a professional photographer. Wanted a relatively cheap high quality monitor for my editors. This monitor is probably one of the best on the current market. The screenshot is taken using an iphone max so not precise but seeing the screens in person they match quite well with my macbook pro 2021. It is rare to have a cheap portable monitor with 100% aRGB. I did lower the brightness as was too bright in the box. As you can see I ordered a second one as well. Works seamlessly using USB C. If ordered from USA amazon you will get a USA plug. I also ordered direct from Uperfect in China and they gave me a UK plug. Their team is very responsive and gives good technical advice. This monitor is probably better than Asus ProArt 14 inch.

Background: To begin, I am an engineer that works remote, and enjoys traveling for work and personal enjoyment. During my travels, the biggest issue is not having a workflow set up that fits my needs. My work involves reviewing multiple plans and working on AutoCAD daily. When I am traveling, I don’t have access to my double monitor set up at home, or a printer to have plans to view side by side. Having a slim portable monitor that you can slide in your backpack is a game changer. This monitor has fit all my needs for work while I travel. Features: Some key features that I would like to mention is that this monitor is slim. It does the bump in the back, but it really doesn’t affect portability much. It still slides in my bag with ease while carrying a 15” laptop, charger, power bank, headphones, miscellaneous cables, and anything else that I would normally carry. It does not add much weight to my back either. I weighed it, and it is under 2lbs. The kickstand is also amazing. Most monitors around this price point come with a folio kickstand. Yes, it does add some protection to it, but from my experience, my backpack, and most backpacks have a special pouch for a laptop that offers extra protection. Due to this monitor being so slim, I can easily fit both my laptop and portable monitor in the same laptop sleeve within my backpack. This kickstand takes up less space than the folio styles and is sturdier. I can’t count how many times my previous monitor would fall due to the folio being touched and undone. This kick stand also has some very sticky rubber feet towards the bottom-center of the display, and two on each ends of the kick stand to prevent it from sliding any further. Very well designed. One of my favorite features is the port selection. Most portable monitors I have researched have 2 USB-C on one side. Why would they do that? I LOVE that this monitor has one USB-C on each side. It gives me much more flexibility setting up my workplace when working while traveling. I like to carry shorter cables so I don’t have a jumbled mess on a small work surface, and having the option to place the monitor either to the left or the right of my laptop is something every portable monitor should have. Most high end portable monitors don’t have this simple feature, and I think it’s essential for being a portable monitor. Some other features that I didn’t mention are the brightness levels are great. It gets brighter than my laptop screen. It comes with a USB-A power adapter (15W), USB-C to USB-C cable, mini-HDMI to HDMI cable, and USB-A to USB-C cable. If you plug in your laptop using the USB-C to USB-C cable, that’s all you need to get going. If you are using this for a portable console like a Nintendo Switch, XBOX or PlayStation, you will need to use the mini-HDMI to HDMI and then use the USB-A adapter with the USB-C to USB-A cable. The monitor does also have a micro-USB input on the left-hand side, per the manual it states is for a keyboard and mouse connection. I am unable to test this since all my devices are Bluetooth/wireless. This monitor also has speakers built in, but it’s nothing I would recommend. If you use this for a laptop like I do, you would prefer to use your laptop speakers or Bluetooth headphones anyways. If this is for a portable console, I will recommend an external speaker which can connect to this monitor using a 3.5mm cable. It does also have 2 75x75 VESA holes for mounting. I can see someone mounting this display along side a main display on a home desktop computer. Overall, I do not have any major concerns. This monitor is mainly oriented towards the remote worker that needs an additional screen for viewing additional information. I’m sure there will be comments about color accuracy, but since majority of my work consists of using AutoCAD with high contrast colors, this display is perfect for me. Something to note, display settings do save, but the monitor must have a power source for the settings to save. This could be a one time set up for mobile users. I like to have my brightness maxed to be able to see everything clearer during the day. Overall, this monitor has a ton of features for many different applications. For ~$150, this monitor has so many different uses that can truly fit in any set up computer set up.

Got this to help me while I went home to see family in the middle of a difficult time, but still needed to work. I have 2 monitors at home, 3 if you count the laptop screen. So while travelling I wanted something, thin, light, bright, powered by USB-C, supported DisplayPort over USB-C, and didnt have a battery built in. After weeks of use in the real world, I accomplished all of my productivity goals and am very happy with the purchase. I didnt want a built-in battery because I knew there would be long periods of time when it would fully charged and sit there with no use, simultaneously that when I used it, it was going to be connected to a USB power source, so it just didnt make a lot of sense. In the end I wouldnt have used it on its battery much, and I would end up with a dead battery / battery that wont charge, and possibly a monitor that wouldnt work once that happened. With this display, I dont have that problem or those concerns. Its simply .. a monitor. I dont think Id give it any special points for amazing color accuracy or unparalleled image. What it does do is a fantastic job with productivity workloads, casual youtube or netflix, and as a monitor for when Im working on retro electronics projects. Images are bright, not too overly saturated, crisp, clear. It works about as well as the average IPS LCD would be expected to. The sound isnt great, tiny speakers, tinny. Your laptop speakers are probably better. Every pair of headphones on the market is probably better. But it works in a pinch. My only real disappointment with it, is it has some power related issues. The monitor doesnt seem to remember settings between each power on. If I turned brightness down, powered it off, then powered it on again, its back to full. If I changed the color down a setting or two (its slightly too vivid for me), its back to vivid when it powers back on. Ive noticed the monitor doesnt like when a laptop goes to sleep, then wakes up. Especially if the USB-C port is an always on USB port, delivering power while the computer is off. The monitor will look like its powered on with its LED lit, but wont display anything again until its unplugged, then plugged back in. Overall, Im happy with it. Got it while it was on a discount. Cant complain much, it has been an overall good experience. I hope it outlives my next few laptops.

I purchased this monitor for two very specific purposes. The first, was to use as a monitor for my BlackMagic ATEM Mini Pro. After trying to use a 7 monitor, I found it just wasnt large enough to see what I needed to see and a 15 would be so much better. And it is. It works AWESOME for that. Its very bright and crisp and sharp. I also tried using it with my laptop and its very very nice with that, only needing the one USB-C cable to power and display and you dont have to do anything... just plug it in and it works. So thats the good. The good is VERY good. I included a photo of what 500nits and 100% DCI color looks next to an HP x360 envy that has only 250nits and something like 47% DCI color. In person the difference is even more dramatic, and the UPERFECT monitor is so much better to look at. Both screens were at 100% brightness. But the other use I wanted it for was to use as a monitor for a camera. And for that, it just wont display any frame rate other than 60p, or 60Hz. It is unable to interpret 24p or 23.98 or even 50 from a camera or other source. It just says NO SUPPORT. So, unless Im shooting at 60 frames per second, the monitor will not display anything from the camera over HDMI. I tried with two different kinds of camera and ALSO two different wireless video systems with HDMI and then finally through one of my field monitor HDMI passthrough. Every time the signal was 60p, it would display. Any time it was anything else, NO SUPPORT. So it wont really do what I want it to do natively. Oddly, when I run my cameras through the ATEM Mini Pro, and output to this monitor, it will display it just fine, no matter what frame rate I am shooting in. So, Im going to keep the monitor since it does half of what I want it to do without trouble, and the other half WITH a little hack. If you are looking for a portable monitor to play video games, or a second monitor for your computer, this is likely an amazing choice for you. Its VERY lightweight and the colors are bright and saturated. The contrast is nice and sharp. You just cannot use it as a large field monitor for a camera. I gave it four stars because it does what its designed to do and it does that very well. But there was no way to know if it would do other frame rates. There is a question asked if it will, and the seller says it should. But I can guarantee you that it does not.

Light weight, brighter than the competition, and easy connections. After a lot of research I chose this monitor for work while I travel. I’m an Account Executive for a SaaS company so I need a second monitor for demos. Couldn’t be happier with it.
