Ive tried 2 of these monitors. The Good: Like having a QLED TV on your desk. Appears to fully support HDR content via Netflix, which looks great on this display. Color volume is nearly 100% of DCI P3, 100% sRGB, and 90% of Adobe RGB. Outstanding color and brightness. Reflection handling and contrast is also great - its a glossy display. The Bad: Both monitors Ive tried so far had a line of red pixels on the screen right side, and some vignetting/purple fringing overall. The vignetting is a problem inherent to most displays, but more noticeable on QLED it seems. Samsung TVs for example seem to show it. Red pixels like this usually indicate the display ribbon cable has been damaged or is improperly connected, and is more concerning. The monitor is usable, but its distracting to see a bright red line, especially on programs with a white background. UPerfect sent me a replacement, which was very generous of them. It had a QC sticker on the back, indicating it had been checked - something the others monitors I tried didnt include. Overall, its a good, inexpensive choice for gaming or as a secondary screen on the go, but the QC issues are concerning. That said, their customer service representatives are very responsive. Its clear they are committed to standing behind their products, and I appreciate that they were willing to send a replacement. Update: UPerfect sent a replacement of the original panel for me to evaluate. I appreciate their customer service, theyre very responsive and clearly committed to improving. For that, I rate them 5 stars.

Ive been wanting a portable monitor for quite some time since I travel almost every week for work. I purchased the QLED Portable Monitor, UPERFECT 15.6’’ on Prime day and its been the best decision. The product is very lightweight and ultra thin making traveling with it easy and efficient. Setting it up and connecting the device is simple and quick. The screen quality and display is incredible (even better than my laptop. I love that you can rotate the screen to be either horizontal or vertical. I will never go on another trip without it! If you have any questions at all about a product, you are in good hands with their customer service. They are quick to respond, very friendly, and willing to help. Five star purchase for sure!

This is my first portable monitor so I did not know what to expect. I was willing to pay a little more for the brightness and low power usage. It turns out the lower power is not very low power. Someone mentioned it draws 8W. I tested it and draws 10-13W (depending on brightness) when connected to the USB-C port of my laptop. When connected to a power brick it draws a consistent 18W! The biggest problem was that the resolution does not appear to be 1920 resolution like my laptop. Fonts are set to 100% but they look huge on this monitor! One other thing to note is that at first I was not sure I got a uperfect monitor. The box has no branding and just says “laptop monitor” on it. It only had a printed label that said uperfect. The instruction manual didn’t even have branding. There was just a uperfect email in it at the end. The monitor itself has no branding. Very strange. Note: Since I bought this monitor, I bought a cheaper monitor to compare. This monitor was considerable lighter and could play off the power on my laptop. I am not sure why the other monitor that only drew 7W could not. Anyways I will have to return because of the high power usage and the resolution issue. Update: Support reached out to me to discuss some of the issues. They send me a replacement right away. I am happy to say that this one used much less power... 8W and the resolution issue was fixed. It is exactly as I expected it to be when I ordered it. It is possible that I was sent a lemon originally. Anyways, a shoutout to support for helping me resolve this. I have updated my rating. Top notch support!

I went through 4 different portable screens to use with my 2019 16 Macbook pro. I wanted to connect with a single USB-C cable and be a perfect on-the-go solution. This model has met and far-exceeded my expectations. It blew me away! All other screens I looked at had lesser color values, much dimmer screens, less connectivity, ect. This hit a ton of boxes. Brightness wise it will easily get to 600nits. The color range is true and matches my Macbook Pro screen nearly tit-for-tat. I can say when calibrated the DCI-P3 range is super close. HDR is something Im still on the fence about. This WILL DO IT but anything HDR tends to looks bad and a little off to me on anything but an OLED screen due to the panel tech. It might be me being picky but thats all I can say about that in a nutshell. Brightness is ok to handle it but f it looks good to you; go for it. I leave mine off personally. NOTE: For a computer it works fantasticly. When driving from the thunderbolt port you will need a 10gbs cable at least if you want a second cable; otherwise you will need another cable for power. If you dont have a port capable, meaning a non Displayport cable one, this can be drivien with a power source and the HDMI. I lost the one this came with by accident so thats how I discovered you need a 10gbs at least. (Thanks for the confusing naming, Intel -_- ) For gaming: I gave it 5 stars but know its only 1080P and 60hz. Not amazing but color and brightness are hard to beat. Id say its best for something like a Nintendo switch; but it can be connected like any other display. The speakers are ok but I was not expecting Macbook-quallity out of these anyways; but its a decent and nice-to-have fallback if you have nothing else. Overall; LOVE IT! I wish RTINGS.com would listen and review this model. Nearly every other portable screen Ive used has been super sub-par.

Original Review: I plug it into the laptop, doesnt work. It works sometimes with the desktop. Its a brick to me at this point due to unreliability. DO NOT BUY. Update: UPERFECT assaulted my e-mail and convinced me to try another monitor. They shipped an updated model to my house that works perfectly -- it appears that I was sent a faulty device. Im grateful to the team -- this is the first time Ive ever been aggressively pursued because of a faulty product. Thank you for making things right.

I got this monitor back in Apr 2022. I wanted something I could use traveling/outdoors/etc and this monitor has been wonderful. The brightness is really good for using outdoors. But about a week ago the screen started to have some issues and I reached out to customer service. They were amazing! Asked me for a few photos of the issue and got me a new monitor shipped out ASAP. But what was even better - they actually followed up on the scheduled delivery date of the monitor to ensure I got it and it solved my issue. I have never had a company do that before! Best customer service I have ever had to work with!

The picture quality of this portable monitor has me blown away. The brightness is fantastic. Its extremely thin. The only negative I would say is the case/stand is fairly flimsy and the magnet isnt the strongest. Ill probably get a separate case to keep it in when tossing it in a bag. Other than that though, I am extremely happy with the quality of it, even the sound is great. Well see how it holds up over time, but the build quality seems solid. I bought this as a portable switch screen to use with a genki covert dock and to sometimes use as a 4th monitor with my desktop. So far, I have no complaints on the quality.

I am using this monitor with an Apple Mini M1. I compared it to a couple other UPerfect monitors: A more expensive 4k and a 1080p, all 15.6 inch. This QLED 500nit monitor significantly outperformed the others. It is significantly brighter and the colors are much more accurate. One other key aspect when using the monitor on the new Apple silicon machines, is the display resolutions Apple allows are limited and does not offer HiDPI/Retina mode out of the box. I was able to use third-party open-source display software from BetterDummy (free) to add custom resolutions and HiDPI which on this QLED monitor made the text really sharp. I was also able to generate higher/4k resolutions as well, even though on a 15.6 inch monitor text is too small. I had trouble on anther UPerfect 4k monitor getting HiDPI to wrk. The one aspect of this monitor that could be improved is the stand. It uses the foldable cover as a stand. It works, but not as well as monitors that use a folding base, or kickstand, for the stand. Kickstands allow much greater adjustment to the monitor angle and take up less space on the desktop. Overall, a very good performer and value.
