I purchase this sketch pad for traveling. I love how I can use watercolor or even Derwent inktense pencils with out them bleeding through the paper. It is thick and perfect for sketching, I love being able to use all of my mediums on this pad.

I have started exclusively buying art supplies from US Art Supply here on Amazon. I used to go to Michaels Craft Stores and purchased all my items there, but after trying several options here on Amazon, Ive come to reply on US Art Supply. Their products are reliable, of great quality, always at a more-than-fair price, and always listed with free Prime Shipping. The paper is thick enough to not bleed if you chose to use markers. Of course, colored pencils, charcoal, etc. also work great. Make sure you read the dimensions before ordering. The description is perfectly accurate, so you wont be disappointed. This a medium sized sketch pad. The cover and binding are plenty thick, and the pages have really good weight and texture to them. You wont be disappointed, and at the price I ordered these at (currently on sale), its a steal! Definitely recommended. I hope this review is helpful to anyone contemplating this purchase. A very good price on these sketch pads, and they are EXACTLY the ones you will find at a higher cost at the art supply stores.

Paper is very good I really do like it and its thick enough so you can do other art with it.

Excellent sketch book for my kids and their exercises in art! This sketch book is a pad of paper of 30 sheets. The paper is textured and is matte. I find the structure of sheets is quite porous, so the best, in my opinion, is to use pencils, crayons, charcoal and pastels with this paper. It is quite thick, so is you have to erase or correct something, you dont have to worry about making a mess. I find that the type of the picture that is shown on the front cover is exactly the style of pictures that you would want to use this pad for. Remember that it is a smaller sized pad. I use these a lot with my kids when we are practising and sketching details and parts before creating a full picture - great for art exercises and learning how to draw shapes. Sample was provided free of charge for testing and a review.

Cheap cheap cheap! Getting what you paid - not much. Paper is not even cleanly cut on pad. One side of paper has a lined texture that comes through on graphite drawing with even the slightest touch. Other side may be usable for shading practice at best since texture is less obvious. I would have returned but used black markers to indicate front cover became back side because of texture issue. I will use the two pads for testing color, marks, pencil sharpness. Will never by another product from this manufacturer.

Paper quality very good. Pages are not perforated. Huge disappointment.

This is great paper for sketching with ink or pencil, as well as light use of watercolors. I love the top-bound style as well and want more like it, only smaller.
