Great sponge filter! Exactly what i needed

Not sure how i feel about it fully. Ive had it in my 55g tank for 36hrs and its barely sucked anything up to it. I bought a different brand for my 10g and its working like a charm. Had to buy a pressure control knob for the bubbler line because there was to much aggregation at the top of the water level

I’m not impressed with this filter. Debris was gathering under it so I lifted it up and nothing came off the filter. It was like it could pull the debris do it but not actually hold it. It’s also pretty bulky, which I’m willing to be okay with if it actually worked. I thought about getting another and trying it with two. I decided just to go a different route.

Easy set up

HUGE sponge filter. This thing is a freakin monster for $5. Nothing more to say.

Gets clogged up too easy , and I’ve switch to aquarium Co-op filters

I have purchased a few of these over the past few monthes. They are so far, my favorite of the sponge filters. Fish and plants seem to enoy them. Water is quite clear, and the fish are breeding very well. Happy campers, they seem to be. Highly recommend these filters. They come in assorted sizes. Shipped very fast, well packed, and as described.

Best sponge Ive used, it is huge but i use it along with a canister on my 40 and Ive had amazing results.
