This item is really big ive attached pictures here on how it look on my 38gallon aquarium best sponge filter ive had makes my water crystal clear and would recommend this to anyone

Very nice sponges for the price. I use them in all my 20 gallon guppy and shrimp breeding tanks. These filters could easily handle much larger aquariums.

These work great. They keep my water clean n clear. The key to these sponge filters is to go big. The bigger the better and will keep your tank clean n clear longer. You can go the exact size sponge for the tank size, but beware of more cleaning of the sponge and your water wont stay clear as long. Some of the sponge filters I have bought that are on the smaller scale tend to not be able to keep my water clear at all.

This thing is huge, but does work quite well.

This filter is awesome! It is big but if you place behind rocks or plants its not very noticeable. It keeps my tank super clean.

These things are well built for sure! If youre looking to add a large sponge filter to your aquarium, this is the one!! Sponge isnt to fine so you should get plenty of the larger debris floating in the water with no problem as long as you are using a large enough air pump. I had zero issues getting sponge to settle on the bottom of the tank. All I did was squeezed the entire sponge really tight under water and then released to absorb water. I will definitely buy these again if I ever end up with more aquariums that require larger sponges. I highly recommend buying these if you want a good product. You can modify to use a bubble stone if you are somewhat of a DIY kind of person. I will make one suggestion while using sponge filters though. If you use a large pump, make sure the bubbles dont go above the edges of the aquarium , or you will definitely get water on your stuff outside of the tank.
