V8 Battery Adapter for Dewalt 20V Lithium Battery Converted to Replace for Dyson V8 Battery, Works with Dyson V8 Series Animal Absolute Vacuum Cleaner(DW20V8 Adapter ONLY)

Battery cordless works.

Worked for a while the first dat, then I would get about 5 seconds of power, then shutoff. Have to pull and re-insert battery, gets another 5 seconds, repeat.

Easy to install. With the DeWalt battery adapter installed, vacuum would run intermittently. Remove battery and reinstall vacuum would run for a few more seconds then cut out again. Tried multiple DeWalt batteries. Returned adapter.

Tried multiple batteries - no luck. Inconsistent or pulsing suction. Skip it.

Didn’t work well with my 3AMH desalt batteries. Would last maybe 5 seconds. Maybe with a larger battery it would be nice.

I need to apologize to the Comaony that sold me this product. For whatever reason, and let’s call it user error (but I honestly don’t know) I put the battery in the charger again and let it charge, again and I have had over 35-40 minutes of operation time. It works. As advertised.

Did not work at first. Finally got it to work. Stopped working at all after the third use.

I bought this because the original battery would not last 10 minutes and I already had plenty of DeWalt batteries for my power tools. Installed easily and works but the handle gets really hot after about 15 minutes of use. I wear gloves to make it bearable but afraid the plastic may melt one day.

With this adapter that it is easy to install I can used my drill battery and used for a long period of time

I ideally wanted to use this with the maximum suction function but the light turns red after a few seconds. On the lower setting it works fine. Buy this if you dont mind the lower setting.
