Great headset but do not buy it on Amazon. Buy it on steam because it is only 1000 on steam.

The headset itself is good, the cords suck. The headset cord tangles constantly and Ive had too many problems with it. The cords on the base stations are very long which is good, but theres no way to hold it together if the space from your base station to your outlet has a short distance. Get a different cord online, theres some better ones. The headset has a great FOV and great graphics. The headset is in the heavy side and the remotes are great but prone to sweat. The base stations are pretty good, especially compared to the Vive base stations.

I received my valve index on 3/22 as part of the batch of shipments that became available on 3/09. After playing VR for an hour, you really lose sense of the real world. I still feel like Im in a game as I type this. Half Life Alyx came out on 3/23. Ive spent 3 hours playing the game so far and it is incredible. So much attention to detail, so much immersion. Its ironically the perfect game to play during Covid-19 quarantine. Running the Valve index on an RTX 2080 in a 10ft x 10ft space. Everything is perfect. The only downside so far is the wire from the headset to the computer.

arrived in good condtion. sadly controllers have the known clicking issue. but its minor and Im ok with it (for now) Im happy with this purchase even when its over priced. but since I cant buy it directly from steam, I have no other choice. anyway, Id like to thank the seller for making buying the index possible for people who live in countries that steam doesnt ship to. 3 stars coz of over pricing and and contolles issue

so theres a couple of reason why Im giving an 1 star review 1. Its a scalp item what Im meaning by this is there buying it from steam for 1,000 dollars and flipping it for more then the msrp 2. the valve index can be purchase on steam for much cheaper and you get an 1 year warranty witch they dont say there warranty 3. it will be easier if you bought it directly from steam for replacement parts and warranty in the end its not worth it to buy an valve index on here for anything other than the asking price even use its going for more then the msrp witch you can by on eBay for much cheaper then on here dont give your money to this company its an bad idea and its not worth dealing with the bull that this drop shipper will do if I could give it an 0 I would please amazon take all these listings down so people dont get scam by scalpers

If you order it from steam the entire kit is only $999. Paying more than double that price is stupid.

I used this product the way it was intended to be used. The laser burned out fast and no longer works. I’m not getting anywhere with the seller on what is going to be done about this. Wish I had never purchased from this company.
