We had bought a less expensive travel case which we had to return because it just didnt work as stated. Someone suggested Vaultek, so we ordered one. Although it is a bit pricey, you get what you pay for. It was easy to setup, looks good and works well. This is just what we wanted. Love it.

This is a great product. A true gun safe with an adequate number of combinations to make it secure. With the included security cable and keyed entry for backup, this is a worthy purchase that will keep your firearms secure but give you quick access to them when you need them. I purchased both the travel size and the full size, and both are awesome. The larger version has an included tray that enables you to keep other valuables like cash, watches, jewelry, etc. above larger items like a full size pistol. The smaller one is great for popping in your backpack and tossing in the trunk on your way to the range, but it can only accommodate a smaller pistol like an H+K USPC and one extra mag. Two things I do not like about the product: 1) There should be an interior light that activates when you open the safe. 2) The hinge door should pop up and remain elevated when you enter your code successfully. Now, the passive lid bangs and rubs on your firearm as you slide it out (if you are reaching in one-handed, which is very common in an emergency situation.) If there was a spring on the door that kept it elevated, this would be extremely helpful.) Otherwise seems like a good choice

To stop the water?.. so its not really water proof at all because anyone can unlatch it. I could get like 1000 plastic bags for this price and my item would be much harder to get and safer in every way.

Handle is a great/necessary addition, lid organizer is a plus. Foam serves its purpose; FYI use an exacto blade for precise cutting of pluck foam or you’ll have rough edges from plucking.

I bought LifePod 2.0 to keep my kids away from my all day carry gun. Before I ordered, I checked many YouTube videos and most of them were showing how to break in the vault. At first, i was worried but i am keeping this vault near my bed. It is good enough to keep my kids away. Easy to access for emergencies. Also, it’s very mobile that i can carry with me time to time. Definitely worth of money!

I like the touch code to unlock. It also comes with a key access that can be disabled. Will fit a competition sized pistol with a red dot on it plus mags. Just a heads up it wont actually fit under the front seats of a Toyota Tacoma (2017 4-door off-road). Got it for when I have to leave my pistol behind in the vehicle, flying, and for when I visit family that have small children. Does require a 9-volt battery, and has a micro usb slot to power in case battery runs out with key access disabled. It being waterproof is just an extra perk.

The set up for this travel case was easy thanks to the instructions provided, however, this thing had failed me numerous times. I originally purchased this gun for work and use this travel case to secure my off-duty weapon when I have to switch out to my service weapon. I went to my assigned beat and the lifepod would not wake up for me to unlock and switch weapons. The worse thing about this is that it is used to market itself as a nightstand case to secure weapons. If I were you, keep your weapon unlocked or else youll be fumbling around trying to get this thing to work when seconds count.

This product is better than expected its really strong and all the funcions are working as designed. So far very good experience with this box..
