I did read some reviews of it not working correctly. I ensured that I tested it based on some of the negative reviews but mine worked great. Just note that with 2 guns unloaded and 4 clips, it is a little harder to close. So you will need to push down to ensure it locks but no problems opening

I bought two of these lifepods for myself and my girlfriend and they are great little cases for travel. The pluck and pull foam is great and I managed to get it to fit my firearm perfectly. Set up is extremely simple with the instructions and I had it ready for my purposes in just a few minutes. The steel cable that you can use to tie it down so it cant be lifted as easily (obviously a heavy set of bolt cutters would defeat this) is a great touch to the product and something not all portable safes have. Now for the customer service! So when I received the pods I was missing the lid organizer from one and was rightly miffed about this. I sent a message through amazon and spoke with a Vaultek rep the same day and had it resolved by the next morning (I passed out or it would have been same day). They were very apologetic and mailed out the missing component very quickly and I have the missing part ready to go for my vacation in a few days. I absolutely recommend this product, not only for the quality and ease of use but because they have amazing customer service as well.

I originally bought this as a safe for a car. I found out it is so much more useful. I travel and spend a lot of time in hotels. I can easily take it out of the car and use it to secure valuables in the hotel room. Ive also used it for plane travel. The biometrics have been 100% flawless. The safe opens immediately and has a LED inside for lighting. My only complaint is I wish the carry handle was included. I cant imagine why you would use the safe without it. Due to the size (which is ideal), transporting it is difficult without using the handle or placing it in a bag.

Theres no room for anything above my gun and mag and if you do put something up in the organizer it pushes against everything

Pros: Hard plastic Great keys Great interior Great mix of accessories Battery can be recharged from the outside Not key based Can be locked down. Discreet beyond the logo on top. Cons: Easy to crack open if you really wanted to get inside of it. Tamper proof security at best This is a tech lockbox. It wont work security miracles beyond deterring opportunists from messing around. A screwdriver and a couple of drops to the ground will crack this thing IMHO. Its a hard plastic and not the kind that Pelican Safes make. Its the brittle composite with aluminum locking mechanisms with dumb tech and bio-electronics. The best feature is that it can be locked down and hidden away from sight. Do not put anything in this box if you cant also hide it from sight. I love this thing because I use it appropriately and I dont expect it to do more than it actually can.

I ordered the larger 2.0 thinking I could secure glock 19, 2 mags, asp, badge, cuffs. I tried multiple arrangements with the tray included but it’s to small. Plus the interior light don’t work. I’m ready to send back.

We had bought a less expensive travel case which we had to return because it just didnt work as stated. Someone suggested Vaultek, so we ordered one. Although it is a bit pricey, you get what you pay for. It was easy to setup, looks good and works well. This is just what we wanted. Love it.

This is the perfect travel companion for safely and legally transporting your hand guns when traveling. I anchored it in the rear cargo area of my Rogue. Its size, sturdiness and ease of use fits our needs perfectly.
