> 3 dayI got this case due to the biometric features and thought the extra capacity would be useful for storing additional items. However, the extra space is rather lost unless you are carrying a rather compact handgun. But for my Glock 19 9mm, I was only able to fit a few mags, and then had to add extra padding to keep it secure and not slide around. There is an extra shelf meant to hold smaller items, but then you cant fit the gun, and its super limited in space. Otherwise, the locking, pin, and biometric feature did work well. But I ultimately found it useless to have the extra size, bulk, and weight to just carry an extra mag or two.

> 3 dayWhen it works, it’s great. I’ve had it for probably 6 months and half the time I have to touch the lock numerous times usually before it wakes and lets me enter the code. I’d also point out that whenever bringing it to higher altitudes you need to pop the cap under the lock to release the pressure so it can be opened. Aside from the touchpad issue it’s been solid.

> 3 dayPros: Hard plastic Great keys Great interior Great mix of accessories Battery can be recharged from the outside Not key based Can be locked down. Discreet beyond the logo on top. Cons: Easy to crack open if you really wanted to get inside of it. Tamper proof security at best This is a tech lockbox. It wont work security miracles beyond deterring opportunists from messing around. A screwdriver and a couple of drops to the ground will crack this thing IMHO. Its a hard plastic and not the kind that Pelican Safes make. Its the brittle composite with aluminum locking mechanisms with dumb tech and bio-electronics. The best feature is that it can be locked down and hidden away from sight. Do not put anything in this box if you cant also hide it from sight. I love this thing because I use it appropriately and I dont expect it to do more than it actually can.

> 3 dayLove this safe. So versatile and unique. I bought it for my next purchase of a gun. For now it keeps mad money safe for future trips. Endless opportunities to keep things safe. And it floats if you are out on water. Love the lock cable and the digital lock.

Greater than one weekI was thinking this was biometric for some reason when I purchased, it’s not. I love the light that illuminates the interior upon opening. It is small and compact and perfect for a small handgun and two mags. I purchased the foam insert and organizer as well.

> 3 daySo far so good. Bought it for a work trip, we’ll see how it goes at the airline. HK P2000, 2 mags, 75 rounds of ammo. I kept the bottom foam in which made the tray not fit but I’m not upset about it. Combo easy to set, LED function and timer easy to set.

> 3 dayJust received my LifePod 2.0. My first impression is that it may keep honest people honest. If a bad actor simply takes it, they will easily bust it open or pry it open as it only has a single lock point and, at the end of the day, it is plastic. Vaultek has implemented security where the unit cannot be reprogrammed when locked. It’s fairly well made but don’t expect it to be waterproof. The manual says it should not be submerged in more than 1 foot of water and at best Is resistant to spills and splashes. It’s good when traveling or for transport but certainly is no substitute for a safe or steel lockbox. I’ll probably keep it but you can buy a comparable product for much less. Nothing special about this product.
