Used it as a side monitor for my 13 inch mac. Obviously this monitor’s screen is not as goos as the mac’s, but totally worth the money and I m still happy with it. Make sure to buy a usb c cable that supports video streaming up to 2k.

I called expecting a long replacement delay with hassles. Had a project deadline. Despite the ubiquity of USB-C ports on laptops in recent years—including all Apple laptops—USB-C support remains a rare feature. Seriously, I searched for hours to find one thats 1) in stock and 2) not ridiculously overpriced. So I felt incredibly lucky to find this reasonably-priced 24 display with full USB-C support and an excellent 1440p resolution! The refurbished unit I received looks and works as good as new, and the included USB-C cable works perfectly with my MacBook, charging it while receiving its video signal and connecting the monitors USB hub. Love these monitors. Really nice picture quality and easy to setup. I got 2 monitors to setup at home and connected to my laptop via a hub. Only HF them few weeks, but working great so far.

The monitor seems great except that the USB-C does not function. I tried two different computers (MacBook and MacBook Air) and two different USB-C cables (Apple and Belkin) that support power and video, but the monitor does not detect video (it just provides power). Fortunately I can use HDMI and USB-A for now, but I bought it specifically for USB-C to reduce cable clutter. Ill be calling support to see if they can replace.

I had an older 19 monitor and replaced it with this one; the picture/video quality is significantly better; screen rotation works great this model has a nice set of ports for connectivity.

Do not believe one of the top comments saying one needs only a USB 3.1 cable to display to this monitor. It is not true, the company has false advertising claiming compatibility with Macs, which is not the case without an adaptor. Third party adaptors most likely wont work either. One probably must purchase an Apple one and cough out $70 and utilize the adaptors HDMI to connect to this monitor as the usb-c connectivity of this monitor does not support thunderbolt, not allowing macs to display. The company representatives also wont offer any real help on the issue, rather referring you to Apple customer support, leaving you on your own.

A nice big monitor with built-in stand adjustable for height and tilt. Nice picture, but the sound is very faint. I use a separate wired soundbar anyway, so not an issue for me.

The monitor is used in my 3 screen workstation for CAD and pdf work. It is a good monitor with clean images. It does have this habit of giving me a black screen and no input message about once per week. My other two monitors do not. It requires me to remove power cord and plug back in to clear it. I keep using it because the price was right. This unit is a little over a year old.

Using this as a separate monitor in smaller upstairs home office. As much as it would be nice to have a 4K monitor, I really couldnt see spending an extra $200-$300 for it since I wont be watching be primarily watching movies on it. However, the QHD is excellent for general personal and office work, including tasks like software development. Has all the latest common connectivity options - USB-C 3.1 / HDMI 1.4 / DisplayPort / and USB 3.0 inputs. Love the nearly nonexistent bevels around the top and sides and the built-in speakers are more than sufficient. Especially cool is the tool-less assembly! One thumbscrew at the bottom to put the stand together and the stand *snaps* into the back of the monitor. There is a nice built-in handle at the top of the stand behind the monitor to help carry/move it. Wide tilt angle and height adjustment. Well done ViewSonic!! I may have to get another one - just cause!! Just a note that this one is a second shipment. The first shipment was one where the monitor was either damaged at the factory and hastily repacked or it was somehow damaged in some other fashion and repackaged as new. No problem - returned to Amazon the same day via a drop off at Kohls and received this one within 1.5 days.
