> 3 dayI tried this to help hubby do some office work at home, but on our Macs this took up way too much space and memory. It works, but was glitchy and slow.

Greater than one weekI was a very happy user of Fusion 3, but, have found VMWare Fusion 4 to be not as reliable or robust as version 3 was. Since upgrading, Ive had problems with my mouse cursor disappearing, as well as getting into a mode where my Mac-side Apps wont launch properly. The only thing that seems to fix this is closing Fusion and rebooting the host Mac. The problem is most likely to occur if Im doing other processor-or-disk-intensive work while booting a VM. (Which can take a while for Windows OSs.) I did not have these problems with Fusion 3.

> 3 dayGood, but a little complex for my tastes.

Greater than one weekEasy drag & drop install and works well. Running it on a 2010 era MacBook Pro with 8 GB of memory.

> 3 dayFor much of my life, I was a self-described Windows guy. However, in the past few years Ive gotten more into blogging, recording, and video editing. All of these things seemed like theyd be so much better on the Mac. The big challenge for me is that I have some favorite programs that are windows-only.

> 3 dayThis pertains to Fusion 4.1 on a recent MacBookPro. The program does what it is supposed to do but I cant help thinking BootCamp would work just as well and I may uninstall Fusion to see for myself. It takes at least 30 seconds for Fusion to start running Windows7 and I have to double click twice to get anything to run. Even after increasing installed RAM to 8 and allocating more to Windows some things are slow, especially video. It is easy to screw up the display if you click the wrong icon on the bar. Tech support from Fusion is not bad but not great either, depends on who you get, assuming you call during support hours, 6a-6p west coast time. There is NO written documentation nor is there a PDF on Fusions website. When I suggested they write up something I got silence. You can wander through Fusions online database if you have some time to kill but some of the answers I found there were wrong. Like I said, try BootCamp first.

> 3 dayI need to use Visio and Access on my MAC, and fusion is a better solution than buy a PC. The version 4 is optimized for Lion, and it looks like use less resources than the previous version, it runs Windows 7 without limitation, and I believe it is faster and I can keep open on a desktop meanwhile working on another, without any problem of memory.

> 3 dayÇa fonctionne très bien et facile à utiliser. Je recommande ce produit au prix où je lai payé 49.99$. Cependant, je nai pas essayer les autres programmes de virtualisation tel que 7 parrallel et virtual box.
