> 3 dayI found the download from disc much more difficult to handle than the free trial that I used first. It still does not work correctly, I had to load Windows twice to get it to work without freezing up it works but not as well as I had hoped.

> 3 dayThis was well suited for my specific needs. I got stuck when I did a clean install on my Apple laptop that was tweaked enough that doing a fresh install was bad for my set up but a upgrade would allow me to keep running. This update from Fusion 3 allowed me to bridge that gap. Seems to run at least as well as Fusion 3 did.

> 3 dayNo real problems except that VMware seem to assume I am a company. Regular updates. It does what I need.

> 3 dayThis is a great product that does exactly what it says. However, I find myself needing it less and less. Every day less software is Windows only and in fact many products are Mac only these days. The reason I point this out is that I do not feel that I use this software enough to give it a full review that it deserves.

> 3 dayVMware Fusion 4 setup was a breeze. I had previously installed it alongside Parallels 7, but since my Parallels VMs were already installed with the requisite Microsoft bloatware, I hardly got any use out of it and continued using Parallels.

> 3 dayI am using both Parallels and VMware products on my two Macs. I find VMware way less cumbersome. And Parallels comes out with a new update about every six months, which wouldnt be so bad but they want the user to pay for the upgrade. I went through the entire version 3 of VMware updates without paying a dime. Ill take VMware, thank you.

Greater than one weekThis is very slow to boot up, and is not intuitive like Apple products are, but it sure does make my Mac look like a PC. I view the latter as a definite negative, but I need Windows for an IRS tax program. That program runs flawlessly on my Mac-running-Windows.

> 3 dayI upgraded from fusion 3 and wish I hadnt. Outside of faster boot times, I cant tell the difference in performance, but lost USB support and it no longer automatically releases the mouse when you try to move out of the VMWare window.
