> 3 dayI am using both Parallels and VMware products on my two Macs. I find VMware way less cumbersome. And Parallels comes out with a new update about every six months, which wouldnt be so bad but they want the user to pay for the upgrade. I went through the entire version 3 of VMware updates without paying a dime. Ill take VMware, thank you.

> 3 dayFusion setup easy, works great, very happy. This was the easiest setup Ive ever had with a program like this. The only issue was when I upgraded to Mountain Lion, I had to upgrade to Fusion 5. Overall Fusion makes using Windows on a Mac as easy as running Windows on a PC. Ive never had a crash or problem.

> 3 day...with out really tossing it out a window? Seriously, if you must enter into the belly of the beast, best done from your Mac. That way, if you get really upset at it, youre that much less likely to chuck the computer into the furnace. Ive used both Parallels and VMWare Fusion. I prefer Fusion. Parallels wants to integrate more blending between Mac and PC and I respect that choice and those features, but Id rather have a clear distinction between working in Windows and not ever having to see it ever again.

> 3 dayExcellent software!! I installed Win 7 in my new iMac (Lion 10.7.2) in about 20 minutes. It starts quickly and works seamlessly. Ive been a computer professional for 20 years and I am very impressed!!

> 3 dayI found the download from disc much more difficult to handle than the free trial that I used first. It still does not work correctly, I had to load Windows twice to get it to work without freezing up it works but not as well as I had hoped.

> 3 dayAmazon is asking Vine reviewers to write a review of all items they have received. This review is written to comply with that new policy. Be kind, dont mark this review as unhelpful - I didnt write a review in the first place because I knew I didnt have enough info to make my review helpful.

> 3 dayI have had no problems running VMWare Fusion 4 with a Windows 98 and various Linux installations. But...Im not happy about the fact that it requires a paid upgrade only a year later in order to maintain compatibility with Mountain Lion. I was happy using VirtualBox for virtualization prior to VMWare, and will be going back to that stable, reliable and free Open Source solution (available from Oracle).
