Vortex Optics Diamondback HD Binoculars 10x42

Superb quality

I got these because I wanted the extra power, and now i have used them a bit and can say I like them alot, I can see alot more now than before but it takes a bit of practice using them, and they are a bit heavy but I knew that going into it, the price of these is very good, the quality is great, they are very clear binos, you can hold these but you have to get used to it, once you get on a bird it is amazing what you can see. I am impressed with these . well made and good ergonomics, thanks!!!!!

It is not fog proof as claimed by Vortex! I tried using it several times during the morning and the lens were full of fog! Its just a waste of money. I bought a much cheaper Carson and it is way better than this one.

Very comfy to hold. Nice set up with harness to allow both case and binos to be carried together.

I love this product. Although a bit pricy. The optics are great. The perfect hunting companion. Any outdoors person will truly appreciate the quality of this product.

I was looking for a compact pair on binocs I might fit in a coat pocket or even baggy shorts pocket in warmer months. I was concerned that I’d have to sacrifice image quality significantly, and that the field of view would be too narrow, but I have a few trips planned in the near future when I thought my standard size Nikon Monarch 5s would be too much to cart around. I took a chance on these and am glad I did. I love how these cradle perfectly in my hand, and how natural it is to adjust focus with my index finger. Took them out for a long walk on this overcast morning. They really capture far more light than I would expect for a 28mm lens. While there were a few times I lost sight of a moving bird that I might have tracked with slightly more ease with the wider field of view on my 8 x 42 Nikons, for the most part I didn’t really feel like I was making very much of a sacrifice for the slightly smaller size. I’ll be bringing these along to places frequently when bird watching is not my primary goal, but “you never know” what you might miss.

I received them quickly and they are much nicer binos than another more commonly known ones that I had purchased and was not satisfied with.
