I like the 10x50 binoculars because of their very clear image quality, and the chest carrier with straps, included, are comfortable to carry in the field. I purchased a tripod adapter (also Vortex) that fits a camera/video camera tripod which has a camera/binocular pad with a screw attachment for the binocular pad. Instruction as on the Amazon website. A video is available on YouTube. Very simple and easy to use. Better than the 42 mm objective lens, with superior light gathering and wider field of view.

I use these for deer hunting in woodlands and over food plots. These are a great value and get the job done. The glass is clear and the set up is simple. They gather good light late in the day.

I am very pleased with these binoculars. However, they are very similar to Nikon Prostaff 3s. I don’t think the Nikon binoculars can clearly view close up objects as well as these, but if your main purpose is bird watching/wildlife viewing those will work very well too. In hand, the Nikon Prostaff 3s have a grippy, rubber feel to them and seem to be a little lighter. The lens is more beveled, or fish-eye view, while the vortex diamondbacks are more of a flatter lens view. If I were to be nit-picky, I would choose the vortex diamondbacks only because of the guaranteed lifetime warranty. If you are on a budget and want a quality pair of binoculars, definitely look for the Nikon Prostaff 3s.
