I have a Vortex binocular that I paid good money for about 18 years ago. Loved em. Up until I splurged on a Swarovski 8x56. This time I was wanting more power but still couldnt swallow Swaroskis price for a 15x56. I love the Vortex warranty, of course. So I got Vortex 15x56. Terrible, (again, thats after Swarovski).

My trusty Bushnell Legends suffered a fatal drop. I replaced them with an upgrade to these Vortex 10 x 50 HDs. For me they are a completely new experience in binoculars. Visual clarity and color transmission were stunning compared to my previous glasses. The trade off of 4 ounces and $130 is worth it. I found it much easier to distinguish warblers in bushes as I could clearly see them between the branches. Now we will see how long they last!
