> 3 dayDo your research, figure out how much you can spend, what do you really need for the usage, read reviews and the recommendations. These are nice binoculars for the 200-300 dollar range. I borrowed 4 sets of binoculars from family and friends. The Vortex line was superior by far. Carrying case, shoulder harness, and neck strap are all a nice touch.

Greater than one weekSuper happy with these binos. Very bright, very clear! I am shocked at how good they are considering the very affordable price. I have Swarovski binos and this Vortex scope is excellent.

Greater than one weekWe went on a photo safari to Tanzania in January of this year and brought my Nikon binoculars. Had the opportunity to try out many others including swarovski. As a gift to our driver, since his binoculars broke on the trip, I gave him mine with the intention of purchasing a pair of swarovski upon return to the states. After much research and NOT due to cost, I decided to order the Vortex Diamondback to see for myself. Could not be happier and just took a trip to Rocky Mountain National Forest with the $1,000 difference.

Greater than one weekThe clarity is amazing! Surpassed my expectations. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a “forever” set of binoculars.
