I went from a Samsung baby monitor to this one. The parent unit on my old one would only stay charged for maybe 15 minutes at a time and the back wouldn’t snap on right. This monitors parent unit will stay charged for DAYS! Seriously. I don’t use it a whole lot throughout the day, but it stayed charged and was at about 50% after four days without charging. My other monitor did have a few extra features that this one does not, but for the price.. you really can’t beat it!

I like it a lot very cool n convenient all tho the temp keeps going to 72-73 every 5 seconds idk why but other then that it’s great.

We love this baby monitor, the picture quality is decent for the price and the screen size is large enough. The fact that it is not a wifi monitor gives me peace of mind. I also like the fact that it has the option to play white noise which helps my baby sleep during naptime.

The only thing I have a problem with is that the buttons are don’t always respond correctly. When I try to put the volume down the volume instead goes up.

Got these to keep track of the dogs. One loves to wait for me to leave the room so she can jump up and destroy something. The cameras have to be plugged in, but the screen lasts a while without. They are working as expected.

Does everything I need it to, and does it pretty well. I didnt buy it for a baby or anything, and I bought it used, but its doing pretty well so far. The bad: 1. TINY camera angle. Even zoomed out, you get a really narrow field of view and have to pan around to see more than just a babys worth of space. Might be a good thing considering how low-res the camera is, though. 2. The camera isnt very good, though I guess its okay for the price. If youre watching for tiny movements like breathing, good luck. Framerates awful, though I suppose thats not exactly a high-priority. Also the exposure is pretty bad too, if theres anything bright in the view, youre blind, and dark colors in general are pretty much gone. Still, good enough, its not an F, more like a D+ or so. 3. Night vision is finicky, I really wish it was a toggle. Its not great at detecting when to switch. If you have the camera in a lit room and the light is turned off, theres a pretty good chance it wont turn on night vision until youve panned the camera a little to kinda remind it to switch. 4. I wish there were more settings to mess with, its pretty basic. 5. The zoom function and the speaker volume settings are buried in the setting menus, I wish they were buttons for easier access. The good: 1. The infrared night vision sees perfectly well, even in pitch-black rooms. 2. The battery life for the screen is about where its advertised at, surprisingly. Ran a test for like 16 hours and still had plenty of battery left, even though I dont plan to unplug it very often. 3. Wide, wide angle to tilt and pan the camera, even a bit TOO much for a baby monitor. Makes me wonder if its a repurposed security camera or something, ha. 4. The thermometers kinda cool, Im sure some moms out there probably have used it to save a kid or two after forgetting to close a window or something. I THINK the thermometer is accurate? 5. Havent tested it yet, but if the screen has a range of 1000ft, thats great, it means I should be able to carry it anywhere in the house or the yard without losing signal. Everywhere I HAVE taken it in the house works, though. Should try carrying it while mowing the lawn or something.

I really like this monitor, but every once in a while it will just refuse to connect to the camera. This happens mostly when the room is both light and dark. Its like the camera gets stuck trying to decide between night vision and color vision. Its a pain because you have to go in the kids room and turn the camera on and off to get it working. Other than that its great. I really like that it has a temperature function. My kids room is sometimes hotter or colder than other rooms so its nice to see if a window needs to be opened or if the heater needs to be turned up. Also note, this version CANNOT be expanded to 2 cameras. I found this out the hard way and wish Id purchased the one with 2 cameras.

This product would have been just fine if not for 2 super annoying features. Annoying feature #1: Sound doesn’t mute. On the parent unit it allows you to turn the volume all the way down to mute but then turns back on maybe 5 seconds later. Annoying feature #2: Bright light on child unit. Since the parent unit doesn’t mute, I turn it off when not in use (aka when I get into bed, right next to the crib or when I have to resettle baby back to bed - no point in having the whole house hear me struggle to do this). But when the parent unit is off, the child unit blinks a bright green light. What is the point of this? To let the baby know that I’m no longer watching? Eye roll. Of course I could just turn off the child unit but I’d rather not risk fumbling with it while the baby is sleeping. I’ve tried to cover the light with FIVE layers of electrical tape but the light still finds its way through some part of the unit. Blah. Likely returning. UPDATE: finally decided to return this. I tried to make it work but I just found more and more annoying things over time. I ended up covering the flashing light by wrapping a fabric headband around it. I thought that would ease my annoyance, which it did for a while. But then, one day while doing loud-ish chores I turned the volume on the baby unit all the way up. My baby woke up but I didn’t hear him cry until later because the unit automatically turned the volume down to level 1. So basically this monitor does not mute OR increase in volume. Maybe my unit was faulty, who knows. But this is def not worth $70! I switched to Eufy which was double the price but it’s already a million times better and functional!! TLDR; Don’t waste your time or money. This is so old school - it should not be on the market anymore.
