> 3 dayThis drive is fast for an external drive. Compared to standard SSD’s it is on average twice as fast and not even worth comparing to a physical drive. However, as compared to NVMe drives, this is not the fastest drive I have used nor is it the fastest external drive. I have a drive that is over twice as fast as this.

Greater than one weekI love SSD. When installing this drive on my PS4 (also works with my XBOX, but I already have one of these, the 4TB model, on it) it is simple as can be. Just plug it in, go into the PS4 setting and select it as external storage. I then direct the game system to install (or copy) games there. And WOW is the launch speed improvement huge. GTA, for instance, launches twice as fast. Not to mention having an extra 1TB of storage space a really nice thing.

Greater than one weekWhat we needed was a reliable hard drive for our Xbox. This set up easily and games are running well off of it. My family plays mostly rpg type games and nobody has complained about the speed of loading or playing.

Greater than one weekIt worked fine until a few months ago. I bought it in June and just checked to see if I could return it and that’s a no go so im stuck with it. It likes to randomly disconnect and reconnect. It first started doing it while installing games and has progressively gotten worse. It started disconnecting while playing a game and has become unusable. I haven’t tried any troubleshooting so I’ve still got hope for it. If it doesn’t pan out I guess I’ll just put some slugs through it with my benelli m4.
