I purchased the 2 TB version of this SSD with the intention of using it for my Playstation 5 to play Playstation 4 games. It was one of the best choices I ever made. The transfer from console memory to SSD was much faster than I am accustomed to and of course when loading games they boot fast.

Purchase this for my PlayStation 5, and it holds all my PS4 titles and apps for my console, freeing up precious space for my PS5 game titles. Between this connected to my external USBC port on my PS5, and the internal 2TB SSD I installed on the inside M2 slot, it will be a long time before I have to delete anything off of my PS5.

We spent weeks with this drive, really working on seeing what it could do. I have to start with the fact that Im using this one now, for a standard back-up drive, because our familys gamer gave it back. He said it wasnt quite what he expected for gaming applications. Basically, while it is great and works, it isnt fast enough for him. He felt that the speed could be improved. So, it is a really good drive but not the fastest, if you are using it for gaming.

Bought this for my son to use as an external drive for video editing. He needed more storage connected to his iMac for his file cache in Adobe After Effects, so speed was critical. Per his comments he is both really satisfied with the performance, reliability, and that it runs cool. Overall, hes very happy with it and get better performance from his apps now that the file cache is off the system drive.

Although this drive is marketed to gamers, it’s not just for gaming. There are many applications that can benefit from the lightening fast transfer speed of an SSD drive.

I was really excited about this drive. Love the style and the look, and was looking forward to 2000 MBPS read/write.

Works great so far. Plugged it in, formatted it, was able to transfer PS4 and PS5 game files to it.

Not fast. Very slow on my new laptop.

I like everything about this. Price for what you get is great. Transfer speeds are fantastic. I plug it into the high speed USB port on my Xbox, boom, games load in moments. Only weird thing is that it gets really hot.
