Ordered it to use with PS5 and it works great. Remember it doesnt come with a heat sink so you might wanna purchase that separately. Quick installation and working as expected from WD quality storage.

Einfach einen günstigen Kühlkörper nehmen, mit Klammern befestigen (habe Plastik untergelegt), dann in die PS5 einbauen. Hat etwa 10 Minuten gedauert. Der erste Start hat etwas gedauert, wurde schon nervös. Dann würde die SSD erkannt, formatiert und konnte beschrieben werden. Kein Unterschied zur internen SSD, keine Hitzeprobleme. Alles Topp! Hatte ein reduziertes Modell mit optischen Schäden. Diese betrafen aber nur die Verpackung. Die SSD war wie neu!

First one lasted from late February til this past weekend. Im not a gamer, just impatient, and I barely used it. Less than 100 hours powered on. Replacement arrived yesterday, DOA. Why does anyone consider this a good device?

I bought this to install in the new PC I was building as my boot drive along with a 2TB SN750 for data. I read many reviews and was almost put off by the fact that most of them mentioned how hot this drive could get but I bought it anyway and since Ive had it installed I can honestly say its usually around 42-45C and has never gone above 50C. I have it installed under the heatsink that comes with an Asus ROG Strix X570-E. One thing I will add though is that whilst it is very fast and the PC boots almost immediately, I dont think Id notice any real difference over the Gen 3 drive other than the figures provided by utilities such as CrystalDisk. It maybe down to my personal usage but Im not sure if the extra expense is actually worth it.

I was disappointed to discover both my Ryzen 4700U and 4800U have only pcie gen 3 so cant take full advantage of the performance available... However I am future proofed and the price was right!

One of the best budget NVMe at current time.
